Fast food in general. If I must, it's always a salad.

My go-to meals are oatmeal, banana, peanut butter toast.....brown rice with pasta sauce (this is actually good despite how it sounds)....think complex carbs to fuel you through your work out.

My husband does this and makes me nuts!! However, the reality is that the standard american diet consists of lots of "junk" and most people do love to eat it. And that's ok, for them. It's just not ok for me. Learning to accept that others have something you can't is part of life. I view it like having a sports car- I'm…

Prior to getting off of my butt and taking responsibility for my body, I would have been horrified for someone to suggest that I was "choosing" to be fat. But the reality is, I did choose. I WASTED 25 years of my life being obese- and I chose it with every 2nd and 3rd helping and every time I sat on my butt instead of…

I don't see why the two can't coexist. IMHO there are 2 ways to approach MFP- 1 is to dil your calories and with cleaner, healthier foods or to fill your calories with more IIFYM foods. As long as you remain in a calorie deficit you will lose. So eat what you want- calorie control is a necessary component to weight loss…

Maybe you can make a non-scale based goal? I signed up for a 5K, I'm really excited to do it, and it's lit a fire under my booty knowing I have to train or look like a big dummy at the race.

I love greek yogurt with a scoop of protein powered and mixed berries :)!

Protein shakes might be an option?

It's about what works for you. If you know your lifestyle and your habits, thats great because you'll be able to make the best choices for the way that you eat. I will say though, long term success would probably be more attainable by learning portion control. Makes things fun :)

This is such a baited post lol. It really doesn't matter. If you are in a caloric deficit....you will lose weight. It's all about how you choose to fill those calories. I find cleaner eating is more filling. Just personal preference. Neither is better or worse. Do what works for your lifestyle and body.

Throw a scoop of protein powder into your ff greek yogurt. YUMM!

I heartily recommend an Ezekial sprouted type bread. It's a perfect protein and whole grain simultaneously. Delicious too!

My view is that clean eating is eating food that is as close to nature as possible. Get the most unprocessed, natural state food possible. Lean cuts of meat, lots of fruits and veggies.

I agree! The macros are fantastic and provide a great lunch replacement when I'm on the run. They taste like "cheating".

You body is better than we give it credit for when it comes to "detoxing". However psyllium husk is natural. Both husk and chia seeds and can help move things along your intestinal wall. No harm in ingesting it, but I'd stay away from the whole "colon cleanse".

You body needs some fat to function properly. These are some of the cleanest and most healthful sources of fat. How does she suggest you meet your daily fat intake? French fries? I think her head is up her butt. JMHO!

Non-Fat greek yogurt with a scoop of protein powder and mixed berries. Every morning-never gets old :)

I think she just preached this militant way of eating and I worry if young girls get ahold of her videos. God Forbid I ever have a thigh gap. I don't want one. But according to her, if you don't- you're wrong. That attitude is detrimental regardless of your message.

I'm a mortgage processor :)

Tomorrow is a new day, love bug. Celebrate the success of the past and start fresh tomorrow <3 take it easy on yourself.

I'm thinking it's total BS. My core beliefs about food and our bodies in general is that natural things are best. That being said, I love me some Coke Zero. Fill er' up!

I allow myself one cheat meal a week. Today I had a steak and mashed potatoes and even FroYo after. Life is short. Eat tonight and back on track tomorrow. Little cheats help keep you sane :) It's not about all or nothing 100%, it's about positive sustainable changes!
