Need to be at 35 and am at 31 :) YAY me

I use ZipLoc Zip n Steam bags. Throw in your meat and your veggies and you've got dinner in 10 minutes!

I don't really so much mind someone noticing my hard work but I hate the comments of "OMG you look so beautiful!" or "OMG you look great". I was beautiful before I lost weight.....I'm just smaller now.

Of course......but her whole problem is that she can't do that. Some people need to go cold turkey. Most alcoholics never drink again. It's a real thing.

Things don't work for you- you work for them. We all have to make sacrifices. The benefits of eating well and getting fit are much more abundant than something that tastes good for 5 minutes.

I think SAD is CARB heavy. I personally wasn't getting enough protein before. Maybe some do. But I was eating chips, and candy, and BS.
-
I'm a big fan of just eating a piece of fruit....strawberries, a peach, banana. Quest bars and Kind Bars are both good. Handfuls of nuts. Low Fat Cheese sticks, Peanut butter with apples, hummus with carrots, pumpkin/ sunflower seeds, a cup of greek yogurt :)

I tend to take a more "whole eating" approach to things so my opinion may differ. I think if it's natural, within your caloric allowance, and tasty then you should eat it. I will, however, remind you to not forget your protein. The standard american diet is usually really lacking in protein and it is absolutely key! So as…

Disco Fever.....and people were so high they forgot to eat LOL.

I only concern myself with things that have "added sugar". Natural sugar I don't worry about as long as I don't go over my carbs (I keep a 40/40/20 split).
-
I'm eating a vanilla almond crush at the moment. I am OBSESSED. My friend gifted me a variety box and you would think I had just hit the lottery. Love them so much!!!!

Sometimes hunger is actually thirst- make sure you're drinking plenty of water throughout the day.

I personally feel much better on whole foods than processed. But, that's just me personally. I think everyone's body works a bit differently and optimal diet will vary a bit from person to person. It's interesting to see the data presented on a whole, but I think personal experience is more valuable.

Congrats and keep on lifting my dear!

I just don't drink anymore. I order diet coke at the bar and bring it back to my table. No one knows if it has booze in it or not. Or, you could opt for something less caloric....perhaps a Diet Coke and Vodka instead of double vodka? Or just have one instead of 3?

I understand. I work in an office environment as well. I eat a lot of pre-made chicken breast, peanut butter, edamame....lots of natural sources for protein if thats what you're looking for. But if you like the egg whites and thats working for you then that works too!

You can actually find a lot of this at the Goodwill or similar thrift store because people buy them and don't stay dedicated. Just a thought :)
-
I would be super happy to be told I look buffer :)
-
As long as it's within your caloric and macro goals, I don't see why not. But, you might want to vary your protein sources just for variety and enjoyment. But hey, whatever works and whatever you enjoy :)

15lbs is a super big deal at that height. It might be a good time to start weight training too to focus on body recomposition :)
-
The 3 doctor peppers alone have something like 360 calories.....you must be eating almost nothing else.
-
I don't have a no list....but I do have a "I don't want it bad enough to be fat list". As with all things, it's what works for me and it is sustainable. I don't die from not eating these foods... White Rice, Potatoes, White flour, Red Meat, Sugar, GMOs and anything overly processed in general.

Pass dem barzzzzzzz

I started at 195ish and people noticed when I got into the 170s. Now everyone just tells me "Don't lose too much". I'm still overweight :-| lol. I'm 5'8" BTW.

Walmart, target, TJ max, and Ross have affordable stuff if you're not terribly name brand conscious :)

I think for 90% of people fasting would't help you. For someone who is, say wants to be sub 15% body fat, intermittent fasting could be a useful tool. As it applies to the general populous, we don't need it!

I am thankfully not a sweater, however, I love Dri-fit. Not only does it wick away moisture but it makes running and other kinds of cardio easier my reducing friction. I still have my cotton stuff for lift days but one day I hope to have an entirely dry-fit gym wardrobe.

Cellucor has the YUMMIEST protein shakes EVER! Birthday cake and red velvet are my faves and the sugar is not crazy high.

190 is not huge at all for one. For 2, it's great that you've lost lots of weight, but your body likely consumed any muscle you had to fuel you while you were at an extreme deficit and not training your muscles. You now have to weight train. So many women associate their "dream bodies" with a low scale # but that's not all…

My "cheat moments" are just grabbing a bite of something tasty my hubby or son is eating. ONE slice of pizza. A very small portion of something I wouldn't normally eat. To me, "Cheating" is eating a salad with dressing on it lol. I have issues with anxiety and eating outside of plan triggers that. So I do better this way.…
