I feel the same way! I was doing great and working hard toward my fitness goals. I had lost 30lbs and then got pregnant....now I'm back at the beginning and struggling...totally lost my badass :( BUMP!

I've heard that a cheatmeal is good for your metabolism as it keeps it confused and prevents homeostasis in your body's weight. Your body's main goal is to find the most easy and stable way to do things. If you do the same thing work out or eating wise it can make your body too effiecient and cause you to plateau.

Cut 50lbs off yourself? That's the only possible solution! You're gonna have to settle for losing weight the healthy way and be patient -_-

I usually talk myself out of giving up...saying things like, "You can last another 5 minutes," or "Only 5 more to go. You can do it-no giving up!" That or I s**t talk to myself and tell myself to quit being a p**y. Always makes me finish on track! lol

My thoughts exactly! Why should I deal with constant pictures of everyone's wasted, duck-faced selfies and not be able to post a picture of me breaking my personal best in squats? I have a friend who is like this girl. Any time anyone post about being fit she complains and gets all mad but then I see her talking about how…

Because the more muscle you have the more calories you burn through out the day. You will burn fat when you build muscle! But you have to eat! No calorie deficit required when you lift. Just LOTS of protein and healthy eating :D

Usually right after I eat it but sometimes before hand. I like to see how my macros will look before I eat something too.

I'm down! I have problems on the weekends! Otherwise I'm pretty good. Feel free to add me :)

You should be able to lose weight while eating more after breastfeeding! I lost a bunch the first 6 months after I had my daughter...and then gained it all back!! One thing is you need to eat around 300 extra calories a day to maintain your supply. I'd say eat 1800 calories a day and workout. I lift only so I eat 1800-1900…

I suggest getting the book "New Rules of Lifting for Women" It lays out everything you need to know and gives you stages for workouts. I am doing it and have lost an inch and a half off my stomach in one month. I only workout 2-3 days a week and I eat 1800 calories at day-250 extra on the days I work out. I feel great and…

I used to eat 1350 calories a day...I went to 1800 calories a day and my plateau was broke!

I like that its allowing us to figure more out about characters we really knew nothing about! But I do want to find out how Judith is doing!

I remember that feeling well! You've taken the first step in losing weight. Walk, lift weights, and ABOVE ALL; watch what you eat! Count your calories and make healthier choices! Protein coupled with veggies (green leafy veggies are best) are your best friend. If you have to eat starch brown rice, quinoa, or sweet potatoes…

This all the way! Be sure you are getting TONS of protein and a protein shake/bar 30 max after your workout. I am doing NROLFW atm and I get no less that 150g of protein a day. Make sure you eat! I am 5'4" and eat 1800 calories when I don't workout and 2160 when I do.

I should mention I just started DL and Squats so my weight on them was super low. Especially the DL. I do usually do I warm up set of squats without any weights!
-
Also...when you get weak..don't feel sorry for yourself and feel like it doesn't matter anymore. Pick yourself up and do better next time you put food in your mouth! It's super important to move past your slip ups and not dwell on them.

You need to always have self control. And that can only come from you! Take that great feeling you had at 310 and use it to drive you. Take you, your wife, and your kids and use them to drive you too. It is WELL worth it. My boyfriend was 315lbs at one point and is now 270 (nearly all muscle) and feels soooo much better…

Thanks so much everyone. I have been in a rush my last few workouts and I have just jumped right in. I knew I should be warming up but I knew that I shouldn't be making a habit of it. Especially when I was doing lunges after my deadlifts and had a pain I knew wasn't right! Thankfully it doesn't hurt today and I am resting…

I don't track sugar that occurs naturally in fruit. I don't see the point in that. I do try and limit my refined sugar and any sugar in my drinks. I use setiva in my coffee. It's a natural zero calorie sweetener.

You look amazing! Great loss chickadee!

It sounds like you need to let him be stubborn and worry about yourself. If you're truly committed you can do the changes yourself. I know it's easier to have someone doing it with you-but ultimately it's up to you! If you do things the right way and he sees you losing weight and he isn't that may be the "push" he needs to…

You need to eat more clean if you want to see more of a drop in your body fat percentage. It's all a matter of what you put in your mouth and of course cardio and weight training. But mostly what you consume. Eating clean is super hard but well worth the effort if you can achieve it. Not saying you for sure what abs but…

Wow, you look fantastic! Great work! :)

Anyone can feel free to add me! I am looking to lose weight and put on muscle after giving birth to my little girl :)
-
The girl from Brave-I don't know her name though >.< Sorry

Once you start strength training I'd make sure you're getting at least 100-120g of protein a day. Protein helps your muscles repair.

You may need to look into something that is lower in hormones. I used the nuvaring and really enjoyed it. It was lower in hormones if I remember right. I would give it a little time before dismissing the current one. Your body is going to need to adjust so I would try and give it a chance.
