  • I buy mine in bulk and sort them into small snack bags. This way i don't have to worry about portion control since it's already portioned out.
  • Bulk up your meals. Especially breakfast. I looked at your diary and other than Thursday, it's way too light for your first meal of the day. Try including a protein with every meal. Also adding more green leafy veg.
  • My guess is that since the official site lists it as w/ fries that's why it's 610. I think I would use the 400 something entry just to be on the safe side. Either way it was smart thinking to only eat half. Perhaps you could write the company for further clarification.
  • If you have a large amount to loose, any exercise will work. I do primarily water aerobics. It's the fact that you are moving period that matters. As you get smaller and want to work on shaping your body more specific exercises to work on certain areas are warranted. Right now it's simply important to work consistently for…
  • I don't have friends who go out boozing for entertainment on a Saturday night, but I do go out fairly often. I either get one drink and nurse it or sip on seltzer water all night. I'm out to visit with my friends, not the bottle.
  • I don't bring anything into the house I can't have without binging on.
  • I can't see your diary, but often folks who are always hungry are getting enough fiber. I eat a salad probably 4 out of 5 days simply because I like salads, but I noticed they leave me stuffed for very little calories. I also try and eat a hearty breakfast and make sure that all 3 of my main meals contain a bit of protein.…
  • Next time go to the steak house. The steak & baked potato w/ a side of veg (no butter) would actually be a healthy meal. I don;t necessarily believe in the "everything in moderation" theory, but anything you can eat without binging on, simply look for a healthy alternative to it. I have a friend who loves burgers. She…
  • I try to avoid fast food because it's all high sodium junk even the so called healthier ones. I'm not saying I never eat at them. I have been out and about and run into to dunkin donuts and gotten an egg and cheese crossaint when it was that or starve, but for the most part I simply don't do it. If it's not the salt, it's…
  • Find products that will moisturize so you can wear it curly, then only blow dry & straighten for important functions. Check out Ms Jessie's products. They sell them in Target. A little pricey, but worth the money. My sister loves the curly pudding.
  • I'm loc'd, but honestly ask yourself what you value more; your health or your hair. I would go with a wash n go style or get really creative with headbands and scarves.
  • What yogurt are you paying that much for? I shop sales and coupon. I seriously doubt I eve pay more than $3 for the really large tub of Fage.
  • Fruit is not a bad thing, but you could vary your snacks. A handful of almonds, fives you a bit of protein and is also a good fat. Hummus and veg, same deal. As others have mentioned take advantage of the lower in cal, lower in sugar berries and melons.
  • In the states they sell the over the counter under the brand name AZO. Excellent stuff, but will turn your urine a bright orangey red. Seriously it will look like you are peeing watercolors.
  • 1) Anytime you see a doc who is not your primary, DO NOT TRUST they will know your history. even with a chart in front of them. I always check and double check any scripts I get no matter who is dispensing. I have a few allergies, 2 of which are life threatening. I trust NO ONE. 2) Give your body 24-48hrs rest for the meds…
  • I make my own sometimes. There really is no rule, but I have yet to taste any homemade ones that taste like the pre packaged stuff. What I put in mine: black beans (either used canned, just rinse them well) or cook your own in a crock pot. pre-cook; diced onions, carrot and a bit of green peppers, garlic to bind you can…
  • I do my menu for the entire day as soon as possible. It helps me set parameters so I don't fool myself into thinking I have more calories to play with than I actually do. I also set the alarm on my phone and every 3 hours I try to drink 16oz. Due to health problems I still struggle drinking loads of water so even if I…
  • I just say," I've been watching what I eat and exercising. As you can see it's made a big difference so it's worth the effort."
  • You must be my missing twin!. Then again I have always been the perfectly put together fat chick. People always compliments me on my clothes and both small & large ask where I shop. Although I'll admit that sometimes they ask because they are surprised that I can be both fat AND fashionable.
  • I don't. I look around ans see bodies of all shapes and sizes. I see that even skinny people have cellulite or odd body shapes. I buy suits that flatter me in both color and shape and let go and enjoy myself.
  • I'd get half a cup of fruit from the salad bar and some almonds from CVS.
  • There are healthier ways to get the electrolytes it provides. I drink coconut water instead. If you need some flavor to it add 1 or 2oz of 100% fruit juice. All the same benefits without the food coloring.

  • It's imitation crab meat, but it is still fish. One reason I prefer people to state when they are pescatarian. Once gave a asked a coworker to grab me the vegetarian sushi for lunch. I was stuck in the office working on a deadline. They brought me this imitation crab meat junk. I' not only do not eat seafood, I am severely…
  • I add it individually. It's the only way to account for it. It may be a small amount of this and that, but collectively it adds up.
  • i was going to say the same thing. Try going gluten free or cutting back on gluten.
  • I use coconut water in place of butter. A little goes a long way. The only exception is when I have grits for breakfast, which sadly means I don't have grits often :ohwell:  . I will also occasionally drink coconut water instead of gatorade, it's much better for you and doesn't have any artificial dyes. I have…
  • why? You can have it. Just choose items not covered in sauces or fried. The soups are great. You can skip the rice or if it's a good place they may offer brown rice.
  • If I waited until I felt hunger I wouldn't eat until 8pm some days. oddly enough I used to be one of those people unable to eat breakfast. Food honestly made me nauseous that early in the morning. Also if you are a coffee drinker, a cup of coffee can fill you up. I eat breakfast within 1 hour of waking. What I do is break…
  • Whatever. I think most of us know how to make a healthy salad. Mine always has a bit of protein whether it's an egg, some beans or a handful of nuts. My salads are always incredibly filling. In fact the days I don't have a salad are the days I find myself hungry at the end of the night.
  • Make it your own recipe. If you one listed the person may have marinated the veg or used more oil than you plan to use.
