I'm sure you've already explored this but could you be constipated? I was having the same problem and was actually sent in for an upper GI and barium swallow test. What they found was too much stool stuck in my lower intestine. Hope this isn't too much TMI, but there it is.

I agree with all the above posters but I would also like to add that you did just have MAJOR surgery. Sometimes it just takes longer to recover. 6 weeks is not a lot of time when you are talking about reovering from major surgery. I would definitely get your blood checked but also realize it just might take you longer to…

I made the oats and did not cook with milk. I measured everything as I made a big pot and froze the rest in measured portions. I did the same with the chili. I think I unlocked my food diary so Mari, you should be able to see it. By using the exercise calculators I'm burning around 400 calories exercising.

I would highly recommend popping over to www.obesityhelp,com and searching around their site. I do know that weight loss surgery can control diabetes or stop the progression but that is something you would definitely want to discuss with your doctor. Good luck to you.

I'm 47 and in pretty good shape, but I did not get there overnight. It takes time, patience and above all commitment. I belong to our local Y and go at least 4 days a week.
