Danielle, the machine telling you 125 is your target heart rate for burning fat is pretty much what you'll find anywhere else - if you google 'target fat burning heart rate', you'll find that to be the general consensus. 30 minute/day at your fat burning target will make a difference, no matter how slow and boring it seems…

I wear a heart rate monitor while doing p90x (or any other exercise), and just log my total calories burned- it's a lot easier than trying to keep up with how many reps i did with how much weight. Even while lifting at the gym, i just log calories...it's easier for me to keep up with! good luck! -eric
