I started it a month ago and absolutely love it! Its hard work, but you feel brilliant afterwards and it really melts the calories! (up to 500 in one session!). :) I just hit my goal weight and I would 100 % give the credit to spinning classes for helping me over the hurdles (let alone plateau's) of the last month or so.…

For some reason my top two are from opposite polar ends of the spectrum..... 1: AC/DC - Back in Black 2: David Guetta (featuring Rihanna) - Who's That Chick? Go figure!!

I hit a two week frustrating b*****d of one at about 195 pounds! I read a couple of threads about them and gave up 2 days down at the gym and running a week and it seemed to ride itself out!. Its not the nicest feeling about and is well frustrating but I'd say just have a little patience if you have hit one. Hope that is…

1240. I generally gain a lot of calories back due to regular running and squash though (squash is unbelievable at providing calorie lovin'!). I found the plateau weeks to be when I was exercising pretty heavy too. Its a bit of a weird one, but my advice would be to stick with what you are doing. I did have a bit of a…

I had something somewhat similar. At around 14 stone my weight really fluxtuated between 14 st and 14,2 (which really gutted me as I was wishing to see the magical '13') I looked at all the plateau threads and related sites and got a bit down in the dumps about the whole thing. I kept with my diet and plan for 2 weeks…

Hi Graciella, welcome to MFP! Wishing you all the best of luck with your loss!

I did mine on the old treadmill a few weeks back.... It lasted about a week, I kept off it for a day or two after then eased back into it by walking for the rest of the week. I felt quite deflated at the time as my times were getting quicker and distances better, but its best to keep your chin up and it'll be back to life…

In my 41 years I've never knew the calorie content of any food or drink! MFP has definitely opened my eyes to what goes into my mouth these last few months! I always wondered how gained weight and kept it on even though I've always been a regular gym goer and always played football (soccer) & squash... NOW I KNOW!! One of…
