My voices are telling me chocolate is half-price in Tescos after Valentine's Day and after a rubbish day at work, I really do deserve some. Make the voices stop!!

What do you mean by calorie cycling? Can you explain it in a bit more detail or provide a link so I can read up on it? Thanks!

I'm 5ft 8 and aiming for 140lbs. Any lower and I'll look scrawny - in the past I have been 133lbs and I looked too thin. How I wish I had that problem right now though! Gaining weight has never been any problem.

I tried weight watchers online and found the community a lot less friendly than here. They all use acronyms for everything and I felt like an outsider looking in. Here everyone is friendly and supportive and there's the opportunity to make friends as you go along - I love that aspect of it. And best of all, it doesn't cost…

I researched this diet after reading a favourable review in a magazine - it sounds too good to be true. And is actually very hard to stick to, with limited food choices and no carbs at all for the first week. It might be worth doing for a kickstart though, but I couldn't envisage myself following the plan long-term.

You are definitely not alone. I just can't buy anything in packs at the moment. Weightwatchers multi-packs of crisps? Cheap, yes, but not when I'll eat all 6 packets in one go. And some people are able to keep a big bar of chocolate in the fridge and snap off one square a day...I would NEVER be able to do that, I'd eat the…

Please add me as a friend, I think the more friends you have, the easier the journey is. I will be as supportive as I can be - as long as when my chocolate craving kicks in, you kick my butt - deal?:flowerforyou:

Feel free to add me as well - the more friends the merrier!:flowerforyou:

Why not try guiding what you dream about? Dreaming of your future life when you are slim and healthy? If you constantly think about something you'll dream about it. Lie in bed, and constantly think about whatever you would like to dream about right before you fall asleep. Saying it quietly to yourself helps sometimes too.…

I have a lovely rescue dog who is my current jogging buddy. However I think I would be more motivated to go running if I had a definite date and time to meet up with other people. The jogging buddy website sounds a good idea, but I live in the country and I would definitely be wary of meeting up with someone I…

Oh yuck. I think I'd rather lose weight slowly than take Alli, having read Harley's post!

I find it motivational as well - and I'm going to start noting it down and seeing if I get there!

Hi Cyndi:flowerforyou: I'm a fatty too. I'm not big-boned, I'm not pleasantly plump, I'm not a bit chubby, I'm FAT. And I don't want to be fat any longer. Feel free to add me as a friend and I'll offer whatever support I can. We can do it!

Standing up on the bus all the way to work because there's no spare seats. Telling my co-worker that the cookies she's baked look lovely but I have a wheat intolerance. (such a lie:embarassed: ) Having to go to the ladies room 2 floor up - using the stairs - because the one on our floor is being cleaned. Throwing the…

The HCG diet isn't available in the UK - I wonder how long it will be before it is? I have read up quite a bit on this, having seen it mentioned on here a few times. There are a lot of conflicting reports - but if it works, and the person using the drops becomes healthy because of it, then surely that's a good thing? But…

I'll be your friend! The support on here is brilliant - whenever I'm flagging, I read some of the success stories and think ONE DAY that will be me!!:flowerforyou:

It depends how often she snacks, and what she eats when she snacks. It could be that her occasional snack is undoing all the good work she has done with her healthy eating. Does she keep a food diary?

Good luck to you too - together we can get there!:flowerforyou:

I've made the decision to only weigh myself every 4 weeks, because I know, from the past, how disheartened I get when the scale doesn't go down. I will be measuring myself every week though - upper arms and thighs as well as bust, waist and hips.
