Tin of mackerel in olive oil with an avocado Try it - the yin and yang work perfectly! Loads of protein and essential fats, followed up by 25g mixed nude nuts (not peanuts and not salted or roasted) two hours later. You won't even think about food until 1pm! Edited for typo

Well..... If you apply this solely to weightloss (which might include muscle, fat, water.....) If you apply it healthy fuel for your body's cells. I'll take "clean" unprocessed every time. I am my own lab experiment. I excluded processed food and reintroduced one at a time and recorded the effects on my body and mind. I…

Consistency is the key with a little bit of discipline. So honour yourself and achieve your goal. :-)

Seriously I would get straight into strength training, you'll burn calories in your sleep with increased muscle mass! Way more than with cardio which your body will get used to. You can get more noticeable results in less time too. If you are on a tight timescale, I'd recommend ramping up the protein, reducing your carbs…

I can totally relate, confused as to the pain I get sometimes because I'm leaning on a bone like my hip that used to be cushioned with fat! And seeing how angular my hands look.... Or seeing a gap between my thighs for the first time in 22years!

You all know a gallon is 9 pints, or 4.5 litres - right? The 8 glasses they recommend per day are 200mls each. That is 1.6 litres. Or three pints. You risk water intoxication if you drink too much. Just saying - don't go overboard!

I can see the love for Lululemon http://nydjlive.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/xsee-through-yoga-pants.jpg.pagespeed.ic_.1wn8IQEgKd.jpg If I had her amazing figure I'd wear them too!

Just be aware that you probably won't get much support for a fad diet like slim fast on here. MFP is about controlling calories, exercising and changing your eating habits to a healthier regime for good. You don't need to put that sludge in your body and be hungry all the time to lose weight and keep it off. There are lots…

Still ok :-)

You'd have to eat about 2000 a day just to maintain, and 500 extra on top of that every day all week to put on a pound. A couple of hundred cals are ok

....and are you lifting weights or doing endless cardio that your body has adapted to. You have keep tricking your body into working hard by changing things up about six weeks or so

Just disable it in settings so it doesn't show on your timeline like I have. I never "like" anyone's eating over/under calorie goal remark for just this kind of reason. Plus some people who are trying to lose weight are not eating enough and then moan when they can't lose weight.....

Not criticising at all - I'm just curious - how did your back pain make you eat more food ? Was it medication that made you extra hungry? There are lots of people I know through my community work who can't even walk or exercise at all that are slim.....so I was just wondering...

Why don't we do our own MFP poll and ask who feels that sugar is making them ill? Based on actual facts, tummy aches, bad skin, headache, insulin sensitivity, mood swings etc. I'm not saying you only eat the white stuff with a spoon to prove it's not food combinations but I know from personal exclusion testing that added…

Am currently putting together a nude geeks calendar for a local Hospice and I'm in some of the pictures too! It's liberating and fun! And tasteful and witty :-)

Deffo cooked weight in the same way you weigh meat you buy that is already cooked or eaten raw. Like ham, or chicken slices for salads or sandwiches.

What an inspiration you are. I shall use your photo to motivate me every day because I found it so awesome! You ARE the poster child for determination, dedication and discipline.

You don't need to lose any more, you look very slim now. Building strength sounds like a fab idea, but don't worry about the scales going up - if you are building muscle - they will. It's all good :-) Now is the time to go by measurements only.
-
Doh! Yes you're right - I'm so tired. Lol they will make a fab rich omelette :-)

Pavlova! Yum!

Nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels!

I went to my chiropractor and he fixed it in two sessions. Best £64 I ever spent!

You look so much younger (and hotter!) congrats!

This thread is just bursting with beautiful role models. Thank you for inspiring me! :flowerforyou:

Hi Ali, The best support I can offer you is to eat fewer calories each day than you expend. Try going for 20% below your TDEE and you should see a steady healthy loss. Eat your exercise calories back so you are not under-nourished and tempted to binge. Try to make your food nutritionally rich not calorie dense high carb.…

When I was 17 I had anorexia athletica and did six hours of exercise every day for two years. 1000 sit ups, 1000 press ups etc it took a toll on my growing body especially my joints which have worn a little quicker than most. Same routine every day after school (and no life) I got great results but at a cost to my future…

A top tip I learned was to eat consciously. Slowly. Eat your food at a table if you can, or at the very least turn off the tv if you have to eat from your lap. Take a bite, put down your cutlery and chew, really chew, like twenty times, explore the textures and flavours and then swallow. Go for another mouthful in exactly…
