I liked Insanity when I did it. It is worth the money if you need to have a program to make yourself stick to it. That is why Insanity works... you are moving and jumping a whole bunch, and you dont skip days. Good luck!

Increase your protein as well :) I embrace my DOMS, I really do, If I wake up and dont have them... I am worried I didnt do enough. I know they are not indicitive as to how well you may or may not have worked out.. but I like to think I DO get them because I put forth my 100%.

If its really bad you can use sportwash You can find it in places like cabellas, ****s sporting goods, dunhams... I used it for cloth diapers before if they were a nasty load and it makes things smellproof.

Right, but on the calculator I used... I have a desk job and I only workout 5 times a week for an hour/hour and a half.. SO, it wasnt telling me to choose vigorous, I had to figure that out by looking at my net cals.

Just make sure you eat above your BMR. I was told to not worry about my BMR, so I was doing my TDEE -20% and was only netting like 500 cals a day, because my workouts were so vigorous.

I ran outside for the first time! yay! I am not a runner at all, so this was a big deal to go3 miles (not all running) and my husband said my tank top looked good on, which is different.

no clue, we dont have the one thats like a mini escalator, just the step one with handle bars, but I do hiit on that and BOY is it a workout. I do 3 minute warm up on level 4, then crank that baby ALL the way to 12 (highest) I do 45 sec hard pace, then go back to 4/5 for 1 min then keep alternating.

Funny thing is.. this thread is forever old. And Since it was first started.. I burned enough fat off to HAVE a thighgap...though my thighs are not slim. Its alot to do with genetics people.

I soak in the jacuzzi sometimes, and make sure I do a warm up set before lifting heavy.
