I am excited to have found this group. I do low carb but also drink occasionally. My goals are to log in everything and keep under 50 carbs (I know most of you do a lot less than that). I am hoping to find great recipes here as well.

I've been away from this group and My Fitness Pal for a long, long time. It's obvious I can't do this alone, so here I am. Might take a bit for me to remember everything but baby steps!

That I actually like food that is good for me (most times) and that controlling what I eat isn't as hard as I thought. And that being active alone will not help me get to my goal. I also agree with someone earlier that I will never be a thin person, but that as long as I am healthier I should be happy.

I know where you are coming from. Been there, done that. Starting again. I have to agree with weighing your food. My biggest problem is "guessing" portions. The scale is the most inexpensive thing about dieting. I'm getting it back out when I get home. Good luck. Keep walking and checking your portions!!! You can do it!

April 10 weight - 208.5 not a great week.

I have lost 6 pounds so I am pretty happy. I don't even remember what my goal was but I will be thrilled with a total of 8 pounds. Still have a long way to go, but this helped.

217 Gained two pounds. Been running quite a bit (Did the Shamrock 8K Saturday), but St Patrick's Day Weekend is a be deal around my house. Too much food and beer. Here's to a better week next week!
