Attempted to make a vegan soup that involved beans, sprouts, nuts, and other odds and ends. Came out the color of sludge and the consistency. Tasted sort of how I'd imagine licking sandpaper would taste. It was a big, fat, recipe fail!

Changing my diet has helped and so has switching up my skin care routine (I'm using Mario Badescu, available at Ulta). I used to be permanently broken out - blackheads, whiteheads, and bumps. I still get occasional breakouts but the acne is at bay for the most part.

I've unintentionally been doing the challenge for ten days now. I can feel a huge difference in my lower to middle abdomen and I've been able to increase from a meager 20 second plan to 40 seconds so I know that I am improving.

I have to be careful to avoid "new convert" syndrome when I hear my friends talking about how they want to be healthier but not making serious changes. I have to remember that everyone has to come to the decision to change by themselves and I just got put in the express lane lol

Born in Minocqua, Wisconsin, but I live in Florida now. I love going back - sunshine or snowy days - but I don't know if I could live there through another winter. Oye. Those really took the motivation out of me.

I like the Wii Fit game that comes with the board - I got Wii Fit Plus. I sometimes do a custom routine of yoga and strength that goes for 45 minutes. 5'10" and my lowest was 231. I was wearing an L/XL in tops and a 16/18 in pants and jeans. Right now I'm at 236 and I'm in a 16W in pants and an XL in tops.
