Well, after 5 days of significantly decreasing my intake of fiber from 40+ gr/day to now 12-20 gr/day, I feel great, no bloating and no constipation. Keeping it up a little longer!

I do, every day. That on its own is not enough to solve the problem.

After a short reprieve using Align probiotics in November last year, the bloating is back. I still use Align and combine it now with another probiotic, but no lasting result. I did narrow it down somewhat: I usually start of with bloating, then next day I am constipated. It can be traced back to 3 things: fresh apple or…

Melatonin is good. Chamolmile tea before bed, a hot bath (10 min. max) with some lavender oil helps too. Spray some lavender oil in your bedroom (non synthetic to avoid headaches in the morning) or on your pillow. Valerian will work if you find your brain won't slow down.

OK, I have to explain this.. can't stand ignorance whether intentional or not. In North America, lbs are used. But, that's not the only continent in the world on MFP. In the UK you'll often see Stone. Pretty much anywhere else is metric and will use kg and/or pds (an actual 500 gram pound). Now maybe you won't be so irked…

Though I eat 1400 during the week and not 1200 , I have been doing that for a year now, works perfect to maintain. My goal has been set for 1730/day This way I can drink a couple glasses of wine and do the Sunday family dinner without problems.

Before you all flip out over it, this blog is about cutting out added sugar. Though I have no sugar fobia, I do believe it's not good for people. Why else do I feel so much better when I haven't eaten it for a while? The fact that your body makes it from other sources should tell you it is not neccessary to add it imho.…

I just love how avoiding added sugar opened my taste buds for other tastes! So much to enjoy in foods besides the sweet!

Could be anything from lack of iron, vit D3 (winter blues), too little sleep... I personally don't function long term if I get less than 9 hrs/night, but I work out lots. If persistent get blood work done and you'll know more.

You got it! Unfortunately, I was told I would be more "approachable" with long hair as people thought I was intimidating (I also happen to be 6ft tall) with the short hair. I did grow it shoulder lenght and landed a job instantly. Coincidence? Anyway, I'll struggle through 2 more years of long hair and then I'll go back to…

Seriously? The guilt trip? Sorry, but aren't those people safe because THEY were smart and HAVE been vaccinated?

I wasn't aware this was a question? Poster already answered their own question. "Regardless, there's a difference between having an opinion and making a decision. I would always allow my child to have an opinion, but at 11 they lack the education and expereince to make decisions of great magnitude." Which is why I said the…

It is up to the parents to decide if they want to take their children's opininions into account. Personally, I believe my kids should be informed and encouraged to think for themselvves in all topics; not just (childhood) vaccination. We all quite enjoy our many discussions concerning different subjects! Must be our Dutch…

They can make an informed choice and are very much into science. Like I said, the one opted to get it (immunology reasons), the other not (math reasons). Meaning the one felt it could protect him, the other decided the chances to get the disease (with or without the vaccine) were not warranting getting it.

Please excuse my ESL... I often mix up uturus/cervix. We usually address these type of issues in our mother tongue. Should have been more careful.:ohwell: Edit: it would also help to know I do not have a daughter, but I think I would leave it up to her.
