Any drugstore or health food store will have them!

IMO chiropractic doctors (yes they have the right to carry that name here because of their study) are on a better track than most doctors because they are looking to treat the cuase of the problem, not just the symptoms... Someone here said that ear infections need antibiotic and pain killers, not chiro. Though partly…

See if you can relate to this topic? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1004549-stomach-bloat-after-eating-anything

Sounds like digestive issues to me... I have the same thing. Are you flat(ter) in the morning? If so, you are either food sensitive or need some help digesting. Probiotics or enzymes often do the trick.

Mix into a large patch of double alu foil: instant rice, frozen veggies, some meat or fish, spices and a tiny bit of water. Roll up into ball, throw into fire. Fish it out 15 min. later, supper's ready! Kids love to make one for themselves!

To get used to the Greek yoghurt structure, mix in some regular in the beginning and then slowly increase the amount of Greek while decreasing the amount of regular... Worked for me!

I can relate as well. (I have posted the same question a few weeks ago!). I have had this probem all my life, and for those sceptics out there, the difference can be up to 2 sizes in pants compared morning to evening! No fun on a party night! A few things that helped me: water, lots of it. Eat more fiber (up to 28-35…

My breakfast 6 days a week (usually I eat a kiwi instead of orange juice, but they're out of season right now here. The apple was extra as I knew I wasn't going to be able to fit in any other fruit today) Alpen - Muesli Cereal - No Added Sugar - Swiss Recipe, 10 g Mountain Rose - Organic Chia Seeds, 1 tbsp Generic -…

I juice, but not as a meal replacement. I do it to get all my daily nutrients, specially vitamins and minerals. Approx. 4x per week I make a veggie juice with added fruit and peppermint for taste. It works for me. The fiber is not an issue as with my Huron, there are still plenty coming through. Also, I eat chia seeds a…

Anything is better than nothing, I told myself. So I started on the elliptical resistance 2 and went 30 min at a speed of 55... Fast forward 3 months later, I am looking forward to my session of resistance 8, speed 65 for 50 minutes. And I started doing strength training and intervals. The moment you start noticing changes…

I log before, because I need to know many glasses of wine I can have :-P

Thanks all, I appreciate the feed back! I can't do probiotics, for some reason they give me unbearable cramps, but am thinking of trying natural digestive enzymes. I do eat (Greek) yoghurt - I like mine plain with muesli/chia, no sugar added. I am also a big consumer of fruits and veggies and will not give that up - I'll…

If it persists after a few more days, try adding the following to your diet, they're a natural diuretic and will help dispel the extra water: Asparagus, Parsley, Cilantro, Juniper berries (strengthen the kidneys), celery (with leaves). Usually it does disappear after a few days without doing anything though.

Hi! I'm a 47 yr old female who's 6' and weigh 147.5 (roughly) now. BMI 21 I think. I normally wear a M, 6 or 8, depending on cut. Jeans 29 or 30 with a 36 length. You are doing great, keep it up and you'll get to your goal!

I lie. *GASP* Yes I do. Are there onions in here? You see any? No? Well, that's because they're not there (visibly)... I used to blend everything. He's 13 now and will try more and more, but the structure of the food is his main issue (almost like Asperger's), so I keep blending the pasta sauce. Juicing works for fruits.…

Sorry, you beat me. I give up and happily too!

Here's the answer: No there is no other way. Yes it is unhealthy because you'll deprive yourself of nutrients needed to live a long and heatlhy life. Although it is not unhealthy in the short run, that won't help you because you'll gain it back guaranteed. Hope this helps. Now for an alternative that does work: lift…

Your question is for an alternative to get thinner or near YOUR goal (YOUR way), right? The answer from most people here seems to be "Non existant". It's not that you haven't been answered, you're not listening because it's not the ansewer you want to hear.

This. Could not have said that any better!

Oops... you misunderstood. I meant, you seem to want to dictate to your body what to loose (or where to lose from). i don't think it works that way. you either lose BF and gain muscle, or lose both... Why is the weight so important to you if you loose the BF and gain lean muscle? Muscle takes up less space than fat, that's…

Maybe you are setting your goals too high? Check with your family doctor what a healthy ratio would be for you. Never aim for losing muscle! Start monitoring your measurements rather than your weight. BTW I'm 47, 181 cm (6 ft) and weigh 67 kg (147.5 lbs) with 24% BF... I work on gaining muscle (and therefor weight) because…

Huh? There's people out there that are alive and not have cheese?? Can't live without my Gouda, Roquefort, Feta, Gambozola and Old Amsterdam! Have eaten it all my life and was never overweight (I am here to get myself fit, not slimmer)...

My trick is to drink a tall glass of water before every other drink. Fills you up quickly and you end up drinking only half the normal amount... saves the wallet too!

Kudo's for wanting to try again. With your history, seek a nutritionist/dietician to set up a meal plan. Then do the same with a persona trainer. Tell your environment so they keep an eye on you. Good luck!

Sorry, have to respond as this is my pet peeve. Not mad at you at all; I commend your view! Kids that only eat healthy stuff don't know better. To them, a blueberrie is what a candy is to another. When they start to socialize more, you can add other things should they feel deprived, but parents should avoid projecting…

I skip the sugar whenever I can (sometimes it takes a little getting used to, I'll admit). If I really need it, I go honey or stevia. Last resort is raw sugar. I do not trust any foods that are made in a laboratory and have ingredients I can't pronounce, but that's just me. Each their own ;-)
