  • Personally...that would drive me CRAZY!!! I work from home - run a daycare so in between doing "daycare" stuff I am cleaning - cooking - laundry - dishes etc etc. If I log cleaning / food prep I would have to log the things i do with the kids { walked back and forth 5 times getting crayons, paper , paint..changed…
  • No carbs with a wrap is a clear indication..if you track all your macros you do not want this one lol Not sure where the calories came from..but the person who entered it was not tracking all their macros. I would find the one that matches the closest (that you think) or break the meal down and log that way.
  • Not everything in the data base is accurate. If you are eating out at a specific restaurant - chains have nutritional info listed online I would check there first. For non chains - I usually estimate calories based on items I have personally used to make sure I have the closest estimate. I usually only order a grilled…
  • Precisely :) Feel free to add me if you would like. 6 AM weigh in every Monday! (though I usually log it about 7 ish)
  • I have the full disc set for Zumba - I started out with the first (learning the steps) and soon I will be hitting the last one :) The one I am on now (Exhilaration) I burn about 500 calories for the hour (give or take depending on my energy level) I have done other dvd's once or twice a week just to mix it up but I LOVE…

  • Not worked up by no means..in fact others are more worked up about me posting this than I was about the issue..talk about touchy people geez! It was not said to me but to a friend this week. not to mention I have seen it 100 times on this board. And these morons that said it to my friend really believe she gained 2 lbs of…
  • Are you not from this world?? There are dense people everywhere!! And some I have come across believe just that... one pound of muscle weighs more than one pound of fat...I am NOT kidding!!! :/ Not speaking of volume which requires the measuring tape...which I mentioned at the end. Speaking solely in relation to scale…
  • THIS ^^^^^^^^^ First thing someone says when a person stalls or gains "you gained muscle this week, it weighs more than fat" ?!?!? to the others ~ there are a ton of posts on same subjects...this was my vent post. The other posts were others vents.
  • Basic = Last name Chase and I have twins :)
  • ^^ this definitely see if you have any old clothes...i did this and was amazed. I look in the mirror and do not see a difference :( put on clothes from before..and WOW :) Amazing job!!!
  • I heard... just by watching Dr. Oz I can lose 10 pounds in a week ;) (it's not the "watching" that makes you lose..apparently the claims made are so ridiculous it causes vomiting after each episode!!)
  • First good for you for keeping your strength not to eat it. Second..I am (was) with you... A month into mine..my husband came home with the family size twizzlers (my all time fave candy) and throws it in my lap. I refused...then he opens it (have you ever opened a bag of them OMG!!!!!!) I still refuse. He waves one in my…

  • Definitely this ^ I lose more eating 1565 per day than I did on 1200 or even 1300! I have been losing anywhere from 1.6 to 2.8 per week since I increased my calorie intake
  • I have to guess it is all muscle...I am the same age I do not lift..I do some light strength added into cardio only. While it is harder these days compared to 10 yrs ago to lose..it certainly does happen. If that is a recent pic of you...I would concentrate on body fat % not the weight scale since I am not sure you have…
  • Did you get your calorie goal from TDEE- % or are you using MFP calculated goal? If TDEE - then no you do not eat those back If MFP - then yes you sure do :)
  • Post a picture of you at your worst - on each cabinet / fridge door that hoards the bad stuff or do the opposite if that won't work post a pic of you at your best...a goal to look forward to by avoiding the crap ;)
  • I definitely hit more than a gallon on most days. I have found using a sport top for some reason helps :/ Weird but it works for me..oh and the peeing..ya I stock up on TP LOL
  • LMFAO!!!!!!
  • I think I am a rare wife...been packing his lunches for a decade. He has for lunch what we have for dinner (I make extra) so it is no big deal for me.
  • LMFAO!!!! Oh some of us sweat!! One of my work outs...I have had to wash my floor after from dripping sweat!!! haha To answer the question - not always :( I have those stupid wet clothes no shower things (sponge bath) I do not typically have any odor to my sweat though (thank god!) I am sure if I did...a shower would be…
  • He just text me a chart (from fitbit) showing me the deficits from .5 to 2 lbs per week. He says - it will take me 3 years to get to goal on this diet! I ain't got time for that LMAO...then proceeds to say that with the juicing he lost 8 pounds in one week...speed diet and be at goal in a couple months. I replied...first…
  • I beg to differ..I have actually been controlling what he puts in his mouth for over a week now lol - he doesn't grab anything to eat or drink without - asking or taking a picture of the nutritional label. He knows the basis of it...I just do the meal planning. I buy, plan and make all the meals for the whole family…
  • exactly what happened last time he "tried" it...I keep telling him that is a quick fix that causes more trouble than it is worth. I do not think he realizes how long I have been living the healthier lifestyle..he sees my clothes now so baggy on me and it is like he thinks I just started last week. He doesn't…
  • That is the part he is not understanding ~ Going to have him read this post haha ;) Maybe it will click if another guy says it verse me just telling him. TX
  • So the calculation I have on the spreadsheet definitely is too low...which can be an issue. I will bump it up this week (fingers crossed!) Because he stands but doesn't really move around..I think I was too unsure of where to put his activity level. Thank you!
  • He is not a very organized person and would fail (we both know it) he wants to be healthy but doesn't know how. He prefers quick fixes like the juice diet but I am trying to get him to think long term. He is just starting out and asked for my help. As his wife..I have no squabs about doing it for him. I do the grocery…
