255lb for 5 and working...
-
I eat before bed or I wake up with indigestion around 4 or 5 a.m. which is 1 hour before my alarm wakes me, and makes me very grumpy.

got my oly shoes after 3 years of lifting, use them for front squats, C & J and snatch and they provide awesome stability. Agree with Kelly_Montana that backsquats are better in chucks, and I always do deads in flat shoes like chucks and yes, I will switch shoes if I do both lifts in the same session. It's worth it.

95 kg backsquat for 2. 75kg front squat for 2

Oh my goodness, I so need to challenge myself with this too. I am with you.

I have come close- where I am working through something (intense squats, heavy load), and then I stop and feel like I am about to burst into tears at any second. I take that moment to go pee, or refill my waterbottle and refocus. Last night I thought it might happen as I was exhausted from the past two day's events (I live…

I begged him to move across the pond.

Holy Deadlift! You are a beast!
-
I don't bench but my OHP is 90, Backsquat is 210, Front is 185, Deadlift 210.

yummmm- can't wait to try this this weekend. I might replace the chili powder with cocoa... will have to see how I feel at the moment.

To answer the question "does there come a point when weight is not the issue". That point did come for me- but it was after about 4 years. I had been working very hard, and seeing many changes (body shape, clothes fitting differently, weight going down) that it has finally become a non-issue for me. Don't get me wrong- I…

Currently live in Ottawa, and spend lots of time in KW a well

Totally understand- weekends were a disruption, but for me it was because I was out of routine. My trainer made me promise to have a protein shake as soon as I woke up (to break the fast) and if I needed to lie back down for a bit and then eat a bit more later it was fine. It was a good habit to get into, because once I…

OP I went through a plateau at the end of my weight loss goal and did strive to net 1200 for a short period of time, with a very high activity level to break through. It worked, but I made sure to eat well -protein shake first thing in the morning, egg and slice of toast an hour later, greek yogurt and fruit around…

This is also what I thought this post was going to be about. It's not- so I've got nothing.

Great job taking control. You must be a very strong individual for making those choices and following through. "Keep up the great work" seems so empty for the battle you still have ahead of you- so instead: keep up the good fight.

205 for back and 185 for front. IMO my legs have never looked better. I do stick to jeans with stretch- as the shape of my butt and my thighs does not match any conventional jeans.

You are seriously limiting yourself

My absolute favourite is Toña - it comes from Nicaragua. I am always working when I am there, and it's dang hot- so not sure if it's actually good- but while I am there I drink it like water.

like Coconut, but not vanilla so yum/yuck. Sashimi
-
let's go- watch some netflix and talk about lifting during commercials.

this - this would totally tick me off- does she ask your hubby /baby father the same thing? ARGH
-
"so how much can you lift?" I don't mind answering I just find it sounds kind of snotty and like I'm trying to avoid the question when I answer because my answer is "depends on what lift I'm doing... if it's a front squat it's x amount if it's a back squat it's x amount, deadlift, snatch, clean, clean + jerk..." usually…

Boobs count! Boobs count. Not only do I love boobs, but I lost the majority of mine and kinda miss em'. I close my eyes when I am trying to push through a final rep - I have tried to keep them open, but no matter what it is - a lift, a machine, an ab exercise- if I am struggling my eyes snap shut as if it takes energy to…

abs baby YA!

I started to read this- and got really excited :blushing: and then I noticed children in the profile pic and felt ashamed... but this thread title had so much to offer.
