  • When I first started, I could barely do a 3 min run. Now i'm up to 1 hr. But for me, it took longer than the 8 weeks. Simply because i didn't feel I was ready to move on at certain weeks. I think I finally finished it in 10 weeks.
  • My wife and I purchased BodyMedia back in March. It helped alot when trying to figure out how many calories you burned. With MFP app, it helped drop the pounds easier. So far we've lost 20lbs ea. and are still working on losing more.
  • Hey PSUHORSESHOE The reason that it took a while was because you have to have your music list going. I had the same problem when I first started. I'm on week 7 ep3. GOOD LUCK and DON"T GIVE UP!
  • Hi All! Didn't know this group existed. Just finished Week 7 Workout 3. Love this app.
  • Wow you do have a busy schedule. I would recommend buying a Bodymedia cal counter. This way you can track you ALL your calories being burned, even cleaning the house you're actually burning calories. It's helped me alot. Once you know how many calories your burning all you need to do is watch your food intake. GOOD LUCK!
  • Hi Maeg, don't think of MFP as a quick weight loss plan. Think of it as an change in eating habit. Otherwise, you might gain the weight back. Just don't go below 1200 cal/day.
  • Hey Dan, I'm in the same boat. Been at this for a lil over 6 weeks. Keep it up!
  • I do, 1/2 cup of egg whites, 2 strips of turkey bacon and Salsa. Very low carb and less than 250 cal.
  • in my clan, when I make a meal, I create a recipe in MFP app. Then I divide by four. Works for me. I also just bought a BODYMEDIA. Works great, gives me a better understanding of how many cal I burn...stick with it! BE A BETTER YOU!
  • Are you meeting your minimum cal intake? It could be that your body might be in starvation mode and not allowing yourself to lose the weight. If you don't have one yet, I'd recommend buying a calorie counter. I use bodymedia, and it's pretty good at showing me how many calories I burn a day.
  • Hi Claairey! Congrats on taking the first steps to improving your Health and Life. If you have an Iphone, I'd recommend downloading the MFP app. I use the barcode reader alot to input my cal intake. also, don't rush to lose weight. it will take some time to shed the pounds. There will also be alot of times that you will…
