When I eat more broccoli, zucchini, and green beans a lot, I tend to keep the weight down. Those two items are carbs, correct? Carbohydrates are not evil. We need them.

It's the processed stuff, it sucks. Some brands will be specific in lower sodium/sugars and put it on their labels. I think the best bet for the yogurt is plain with your own additions.

Bone Up is what I take cause I fall short on Calcium and have low bone density, so I have to take something. I would suggest getting a supplement.

No, not unrealistic. Even some women that have had children get a flat tummy. I don't think it will come for me, 2 out of 3 kids stretched my small frame beyond what I thought was scientifically possible. However, I still work at it and hope. Someday.

IMO it is ok to not 'carb load' for a 5k. Even a 45-60 minute run doesn't need a ton of carbo loading before. Eat normal, don't over do it, 2-3 hours before?
