I don 't really reward myself, at different incriments in my weight loss journey. The way it makes me feel is reward enough. However...My success, has rocketed my self esteem so much that I like to buy personal items for myself. I am so worth it! While what I see, looking back at me in the mirror, makes me feel great! It…

I am 5'9' and a smidge. My goal weight is a moving target. Initially it was just to get into a healthy BMI. I've lost 45 pounds, and am 4 pounds away from a healthy BMI. I do know, I am moving toward more emphasis on fitness, while still continuing to lose weight. In the end, goal will be determined by my face. At 54, a…

Hey, shopping mid goal is not a problem for me, lol. I did the same thing. Some people reward with a special meal, I buy clothes! Okay the first yellow one is super cute. I have no problem with a little cleavage, or a lot of cleavage. I just think the ties hanging look a little sloppy. Your figure looks nice, and curvy…

Set small achievable goals, and I do mean small, itty bitty. Then build on your success, add another achievable goal. Success breeds, more success. That is how I've lost 45 pounds, in six months.

Lunch is usually where, I do something super fast, and easy. Today was a salad of spinach, veggies, hard boiled egg. If I am out running errands, I take a light tuna salad pouch with me. string cheese and a apple.

I like this idea. I'm in Northern California. I think we are at an advantage in California. We have lot's of good weather, and hiking opportunities abound.

I limit my dining out, so I eat what I want, when I do. I do usually make two meals out of it. Doggie bags are your friend.

Thanks! Very helpful Don and Danni.

Well Eric you obviously missed the point. The point is, I don't know how I want to dress. I don't see how that inspires a lecture from someone who does not know me. Or understand women.

I've had great success with WW online. I've lost 41 pounds on the program. Being online means I did not attend one meeting. I'm here because I want to compare, and really see the calories, and nutrients I'm eating. I am also getting close to goal, and need a plan for maintaining for the rest of my life, that does not cost…

I am a WWonline fan. I've been following WW online, since Septermber. I've lost 41 pounds on the program. I recently started at this site as well. Track on both. I have had the opposite experience as some of you. I usually run out of calories, before I run out of points. My points allowance is 26. Tracking here has been an…

I enjoy Greek yogurt. Love it's portability.

I'm doing great. Why muck it up with opinions of folks, who's nutrition background I don't know? It might change in future, but for now unless someone is a nutritionist, I don't see the point.

I do count vegetables on MFP. I don't count vegetables tracking on WW online, it's part of the program that vegetables are "free". Yes I double track.

I'm 5'9" and weigh 177. I just want to get to the top end of the healthy BMI at 165. At my age (54) you have to choose between your *kitten* and your face.

Sheesh if one is going to rant about a woman in a magazine. The rant should be about the excess use of photoshop! Seriously they do a lot of damage to women, and our expectations of realistic goals.

Yes Austin you need to eat healthier. You might lose weight eating a calorie restricted, junk food diet, but you won't sustain it. And your calories are too few. Fantastic you have cut out the sugary drinks! My son started out with practically identical stats, except he is 6'5" and a little older. He is down to 260 in 4…

I weigh or measure everything I possibly can! I've lost 40 pounds in 5+ months. Little inaccuracies add up. It has also trained me to visualize a portion. My vision of a portion was pretty skewed, this is critical when out and about and can't weight or measure. it's been an eye opener. And don't forget weighing or…
