If you are just eyeballing your food, no way are you tracking correctly. You must weigh your food, even measuring cups cannot be trusted. The scale is your best weapon to lose weight. Weight loss happens in the kitchen.

I go to bed early, seriously. Having too many hours awake after dinner, makes for cravings in my world.

I have found if I eat all my exercise calories, I maintain my weight. I base whether I eat any or not, on if I feel hungry. I've been at this awhile and have lost 55 pounds. I know my body pretty well, I can tell the difference between being underfed, and just want to eat for other reasons. So I guess my answer is. "It…

I don't have an official cheat day. I do go over on occasion, sometimes by a lot. Not on a regular basis though, more like when life intervenes. For example, today we are going to Reno, to do a little gambling. I will go over, my calorie goals. No biggie, happens infrequently enough to not have a big effect. Having lost 55…

WW has never said eat all the fruit you want. In the literature they tell you to eat a reasonable amount, in other words use common sense. It never ceases to amaze me how few people actually read the literature.

Kate Upton is a gorgeous woman with an enviable body. Yep she is a different look than what we are used to seeing on the runway . Very low body fat, seems to be the aesthetic. Terms like fat, skinny, curvy, fit, skinny fat all get tossed around with no seemingly consistency. Best to ignore all the noise.

Because I can't stand clutter, and it does not go with the décor. Besides, the bathroom is convenient. If I have to have the scales in view to eat like a normal person, then I'm not that commited to a healthy lifestyle.

I'm a smidge over 5'9. My goal is 155, currently 164. Starting weight 218. I am 55 years old, broad shouldered, narrow hipped. Probably medium to large frame, though wrist measurements say small frame. I'm really liking how my body looks, right now. However my face is another story. If my face suffers too much at 155 I…

I get surprised when I catch myself in a mirror, or see a photograph. It is actually kind of nice, and makes me feel good. It does take awhile for our minds to catch up. My advice, look in the mirror alot, and take pictures too.

My almost 60 year old husband (trust me he is still hot) can't keep his hands of me. I've lost about 55 pounds, almost to goal, feel great, look great.

Clothing manufacturers should be limited by law, to how high their sizes can go. If our overweight population cannot find clothing, then one, of two things will happen. They will be forced to stay indoors (best outcome) or they will lose weight. Either way it's a win. Maybe build some mandatory fat camps. Kidding aside...…

Thanks for the information.

Tanning is pretty much asking for ugly. If not soon, certainly in the future.

Weight loss happens in the kitchen. Track your food. Your goal is pretty low for your height, unless you have a tiny frame.

With age comes wisdom, thank god! I don't judge, I mind my own business. I am more concerned with behavior, and how people treat others. If you treat others poorly, you are not a successful person, no matter how fit and body beautiful you are.

I track everything, except herbs and spices. It keeps me mindful.

Health care professionals are human, like the rest of us. We all know stress can be a component in obesity, perhaps health care employers should look at their working conditions. I find it appaling hearing some of these stories. No working individual should be denied time to rest, time to eat well, time to go to the…

I am going to buy a designer handbag, you know the ones, that are stupid expensive. I've never really desired one, till lately. Now I am obsessed. I'm pretty close to my goal weight, so I have already restocked my wardrobe. Then I am going to climb a mountain, seriously.

Aim for a healthy body fat composition. Older women with low body fat often suffer ill effects in the face. If we are talking vanity goals, don't forget your face. Who wants to be the women, that gets checked out from behind, then turns and sees "the look" when they see your face? Estrogen plumps up the skin in your face,…

I am 5'9", broad shouldered, medium frame. Started at 218, currently 167. I am aiming for the 150's. If I were younger I would aim for the 140's. I am 55 and need some fat in my face.

Just in this little corner of existence, Angelina's choice has opened up conversation. Today more are informed, than yesterday. With the exception of the bitter people, superstitious and the willfully ignorant.

Insurance companies are required by law to provide reconstruction to mastectomy patients. Not only are they required, they must cover any future revisions.
-
The ignorance on this topic is astounding! Educate yourself before you post. Oh and for the record. Reconstruction is not a boob job. It's a long process, not done in a day. It can be quite uncomfortable to downright painful. And all this after the big surgery! Angelina is hot! She will help many face their fears, whether…

As a woman who has walked this road, I applaud Angelina Jolie. Her decision to share, will help so many, who anguish over this. I believe this one act of sharing, will have a profound affect.

I'm 54 and have successfully lost 50 pounds so far. My weight loss journey is nearing the end, then on to maintenance! Not only can we lose weight, we can do it better than when we were younger. Our tools are wisdom, experience, common sense. We've seen the fad diets come and go. We know life has no short cuts. We know it…
