Definitely fast food. I had a "Screw the diet" day yesterday & can't believe how many more calories I would have ingested had I not been paying attention! I easily could have eaten 3000+ per day without blinking.

From what I understand, the 1200 calories per day is your MINIMUM you should be intaking so your body doesn't go into starvation mode. As long as you are at that, you should be able to lose weight. I seem to go slightly over every day and am still seeing the pounds drop, so I guess I'm doing it right, then :)

Welcome! I am still fairly new (been here about a month now) and it has totally changed my eating habits. It is not only about losing weight, but eating healthier. I am so much more aware of what I eat and how I eat now.

I think that if you are eating the right things, even as fast food, it can be ok. We all have a bad day where we go over our calories, and hopefully we can make up for it with some exercising.
