Hard to comment when we can't see your diary, however this gets posted a lot..I'm afraid when I see it I tend to laugh to myself...you mmust have eaten an awful lot more than 1250 calories a day to put on the weight..so how come a problem now..I could eat 1250 cals in one course of one meal if I wanted.....!!!

On such a low setting..I have to say better over...it will only at the worst slow you down a little...at the best..sometimes being over can fool the body into losing.

Bump because its so important

I've tried it..last year, and I try to stick to some of their principles ow, but find it difficult because I'm a carbs addict. The attack phase of 3-5 days is the hardest..you have a list of only 27 foods that you can choose from and you can eat as much as you like of them. To avoid the constipation you have 2 tablespoons…

Thank you for those words of wisdom learnt in such a hard way. It is so true that we 'bandy' words like starvation mode, low metabolic rate etc around without the true meaning that lies beneath them. You are now living by the result of the path that you chose believing it to be the right path to follow. I so hope people…

Excellent, why not.....much tastier than a protein shake LOL!!
-
Crave one? Have one, I did last night and it was yum......carefully weighed to 8 oz, no fat, grilled well & eaten with an egg, tomatoes & mushrooms, whats wrong with that? Healthy enough as only red meat this week, not processed high protein and well within my calories.

Well done Numpties & biggest losers...sorry softies I was not much help last week as stayed the same...however hoping for a loss tomorrow..I'm only set up for a pound a week loss anyway so not really going to add a lot..but love being part of this because as so many are saying..it keeps you logging in!

So very true, you may tone your muscles by working out, but for women in particular..its very very difficult to actually increase muscle mass...so unless you are pumping weights in the gym 3 or 4 hours a day..forget the muscle excuse LOL!!

Looking at your food diary leaves me with the impression that you don't plan your meals, but tend to eat whatever is about, you eat some strange combinations. Certainly get your GI diet book out, its the ideal eating plan for Insulin resistance & PCOS.....You lack veggies in your diet, you drink sodas & beer one…

soooooooooooooo right..well said.

I would say that you are retaining a massive amount of water, probably from eating a lot of sodium in junk food. Its highly unlikely..infact metabolically impossible to convert enough calories to fat in 4 days to put on 23lbs..the body does not work that way!!! You can have around 7lbs of sugar stored in your body and up…
-
I notice its men who say you can do it.....thats because with their metabolic rate and muscle mass they lose 50% more than women over a period of time...my advice to you for what its worth is stick to a healthy diet, exercise well and lose whatever your body is comfortable with whether it be 40lbs or 70lbs...after all that…

Bread and chocolate...i'm carbs addicted.

I think that if MFP has set you1200 cals then it has already made the deficit by the fact that your BMR would be about 1700-2000 cals for a normal day...it does not include your exercise sessions. The 500-800 cal deficit per day should give you around 1lb - 2lb weight loss a week..if you add exercise you should eat back…

special k is very high in sugar..but have had friends that have done well on their eat 2 bowls a day plus a home cooked evening meal
-
cabbage/greens a reminder of school dinners..eeeeeewwwwwwwwww

Someone once quite rightly said to me..."If you weighed your food as much as you weigh yourself..you would not need to lose weight!!!"...ditch the scales except for a once weekly weigh in..they don't help...its your eating & exercise that help.
-
I love food too, the secret is to love yourself MORE than food & understand what your body needs in the way of food. I never deny myself any type or group of foods because I have learnt that if I do I crave it..if I must have it I work it into my calorie allowance. So I still love food..and still intend to..but I make…

Well done Team South...amazing loss Gloucs Bloke....fantastic......not looking forward to my weigh in this week...here come the excuses...missed 2 days work due to a cold....sat about for 4 days doing nothing...missed my swim and not walked anywhere....BUT...did resist stuffing my face so there is some hope LOL!!!

i do that too! Also have a chocolate options drink most days for 40 cals. Learnt years ago that if I don't have it one day I'll break out, go mad & eat a boxful at one sitting!!

Had a look at your food diary & it appears that you are making really good food choices on the whole. You have gone below 1200 on some days which you should try not too. You have not got any exercise calories logged so you need to put those in & eat the calories back so you don't go under 1200 net. You just need to be…
-
I don't think drinking water is your problem..its your diet...I can tell you don't home cook LOL!! Thats not a criticism..many don't, however you are eating an awful lot of processed foods that are not only high in carbs, they are also high in both sodium & artificial additives. You could do with eating more veggies &…

I have sent you a friend request. You are a similar age to me so perhaps I can help you.

Have you had both your blood pressure & your sugar levels checked by your Dr before starting? Two reasons that come to mind are that you may have abnormal BP..or that you are getting 'highs' & lows in your blood sugar levels..however anything medical really needs an answer from your 'health professional.
-
Did you mean a heart rate monitor or an online tool to figure out how many calories you burn through exercise?
-
Thats my line...obviously?

er am i missing something...here?
