I do measure and waist has not decreased. My clothes fit the same. I have always felt strong since i have been exercising for 20 yrs and actually love it. never need to motivate myself.

i don't have the will power so i eat 1400 cal on all days. so far lost 2 lbs. Hoping to build some muscle. being vegetarian it is really difficult to get protein without carb. i do eat eggs, so that helps. can't get my protein intake to go above 50 without increasing the cal. it is so difficult but I am persisting.

what is a 5;2 diet/ How to meet the protein needs /recs while being veg i have been a vegetarian all my life and I am an Indian and cook with Dals, beans. still find my carb intake is high when i try to get to my protein recs. i do eat tofu, and other soy products.
