Craving pizza and cheeseburgers and not losing any of this fat. so frustrated! I am really obese and I know this baby needs me to lose fat…

How much does your boyfriend weigh? Because you could lose his weight in about 30 seconds just by dumping his *kitten*. I can't imagine being partnered with someone so unsupportive and douchey as to inspire me to call him an a**hole on a web forum. We all deserve better partners than that!

It just takes dedication. Like everyone has said, this isn't a diet. It's truly a lifestyle change. You are attempting to educate yourself into the ways of eating and exercising properly. This is about simple math- calories in versus calories out. Like fuel in your car, food has to be consumed wisely - put in what you take…

Well, coming home from our camping trip this week we were starved and stopped at KFC... not a great choice but I was proud of my family once we got inside! The three of us shared a 3 piece meal... and didn't finish all the fries. Water to drink. So I guess we are all slowly starting to understand that changes need to be…

Thank you soooo much for sharing your story and pics. It's posts like this that keep me going. I still have over 100lbs to lose but as long as I keep at it, the goal will be reached. this program really works. Who'd have thought; counting your calories and making sure you burn more than you eat would really work? Seems so…

The only way to lose weight is to maintain a calorie deficit. It takes 3500 calories burned to lose a pound. So depending on your size and amount you need to lose, you'll need to maintain a sizable calorie deficit each day (at least 1000) which MFP does for you in your daily food goal. But MFP only wants you to lose 2lbs…

I use my bodymedia link armband and android app to track my exercise. I rarely log exercise on MFP since the bodymedia app and site track it for me and it's synchedwith my MFP account. I like the convenience and accuracy this method provides. I leave my armband on day and night only take it off to charge while I shower or…

*bump* in case anyone else wants to add more? These are great!

Yeah I see what you are saying here, and I'm not sure if some are maybe ignoring the potential that they could have a serious medical issue or not. To everyone else: If anyone who posted here has a period so bad it requires you to take time off work or can barely function and are unable to get out of bed and you haven't…

Amen.. It was SO hard for me to stop weighing myself every 5 minutes. But I had to remind myself that I didn't put this all on quickly. It's been years of eating too much. And it's gonna take a long time to get it all off. Nothing worth having happens without hard work and time. Don't be discouraged. Talk to yourself as…

I have been dumped 3 times by men I thought I was in love with. The only time I "resent" or feel bad about now was #3 who had doubts for months before finally cheating on me then breaking up with me while ridden with guilt. I couldn't believe he had put on this pretend act for my benefit (which didn't benefit me at all)…

the only tip I can think of is to plaster your fridge and cabinets with messages to yourself- notes or photos. This worked for me years ago when I lived alone but since I have had my son and husband around I don't tend to use this method. I should try it again- since I found it quite effective. Somehow that bag of chips…

Haha, yes, the Hobbit Diet works for me! LOL

I literally CANT run since I am in a wheelchair but it doesn't have to stop you from exercising. My favourite exercise activities are swimming and rowing machines :) In fact I'm going to be joining a Rowing club in june! If you can walk instead of run, that's ok too. Try walking with ankle and wrist weights!

Of course I want to lose weight to look like my old self- feel pretty again, be healthy and live longer for my family But I have another reason too.. Well, I got married last september. And I wanted to walk down the aisle at my wedding- obviously, what girl doesn't? So I began seeing a physical therapist. I wanted them to…

I hate that we can't edit the topic's title.... I switched it from Over Eaters to Over Eating without erasing the "er" :/

Julie! She is GORGEOUS! I'm stealing that pic for my collection of inspiration!

LOL! the "I have the shaved head already" comment made me laugh. Like many other women, I'm sure, I have many vin diesel fantasies so I can understand having him as an example. Keep em coming!

There! I finally got that image url to post properly.

I am bookmarking this to post my pics when I reach my goal! Because I know no matter how much I lose, these hips and this *kitten* will always be BAM! LOOK AT ME! But I'm happy with that. I don't wanna lose my curves, just the fat!

^ Agreed 100% :) And for a sweet topping, try a bit of liquid honey. I usually top mine with a splash of 2% milk and some honey. The little packets are handy when you are in a hurry but the old fashioned oatmeal made like mom used to make it is surely much healthier.

Those look amazing... must try. Thank you for the recipe!!!

I hear you on the bread and cheese (and interestingly enough, I hate swiss cheese too! LOL but Gouda is sooooo gooooood-ah) My other kryptonite is Tacos. Chicken Tacos (deep fried). Real ones. Not taco bell or grocery store kits. Actual corn tortillas with shredded chicken inside, deep fried to crispy greatness and served…

Mine is from my wedding in September 2012. But I was close to the same weight then (about 250) as I was when I started my diet this February (267 ish). I suppose it's closer to what I look like now since I'm at 256. I just like the picture because I had my hair and makeup done professionally on that day! LOL! Everyone…

15 hours after I posted on here I got my period. But it's ok, I'm not blaming you or anything ;)

ME! Iwas just about to make this post- glad I did a search. I don't think I have gone less than 6 months without a prednisone round since 1998 when I was diagnosed (at 16 years old). I was 108lbs and 5'10" when they finally found out what was wrong with me. Then put me on prednisone and I shot up 35lbs in the first 4 weeks…
