Hi everyone, my name is Rosy. My dad died on January 16th from stage 4 cancer in his esophagus. I haven't been on mfp lately ir have exercised. His funeral was wednesday and someone suggested this group when I told them about my lack of everything fitness. Not really sure what I am looking for by joining this group...just…

I just want to tell you that it was awesome that you made this group. For me, this was a hard challenge and I definitely did not make it everyday. But it did let me know that I needed to work on my food consumption and what I put into my body. Let me know if you decide to do this challenge again. I would love to really…

I know right? I can totally understand where you are coming from. I do that too and get so frustrated with myself later. Why is willpower so hard?

Thanks, I did not realize that a fitbit was a pedometer. Sounds like a lot of people use both. This morning I've been researching some HRM's and pricing. Amazon seems the way to go. Thanks everyone for your input.

Ok, thanks :)

Yes that sounds pretty convenient, especially if it can link to MFP...that's awesome. Thanks.

protein smoothies....Mmmm (walmart...super cheap)

Female supplements, protein mixes....if you want you can buy me something. I need some more vitamins.

30 DS does have low calories burns....my theory is because it's the circuit interval training. If this was pure cardio it would be way higher. I'm on Level 2 Day 3 and I know that I am building strength and working muscles I haven't used in a while. Whatever the calorie burn is....it's sooo worth it!

I have been unemployed since June, so my schedule is pretty much whatever. I can do what I want to do. I do whatever I feel like and whenever I feel like doing it. Sure there are goals/ plans on the list....but there's always tomorrow right?

I pray that God gives me the continual strength to finish the things I have started this month: (Zumba, 30 day shred, intermittent fasting and Christmas devotions on Youversion Bible App)

I am doing a few challenges right now (Month of December) and this by far is the hardest. It takes a real commitment to give up those unhealthy foods and eat clean. Some days I made it, other days I have fallen short. There are 10 more days left, and if I can go half of those days clean (that is a huge thing for me) I…

Good luck....I tried it this summer (made it 1.5 days) Now I do intermittent fasting.
-
I am Intermittent Fasting so I eat 2 meals: Lunch and Dinner.

I totally agree with what ^ said. Hydroxycut will help give you the energy to workout (a good duration too). I as well took less than recommended for the same reasons. 2 pills a day was more than enough for me. It does help.
-
I tried it this summer. It fueled my body to work out. It also sped up my heart rate (that was kind of scary lol). I lost 15lbs during the summer thanks to Hydroxycut Hardcore. I would suggest to try it. I've been considering going back to it at the beginning of the year.

I am praying for a few things today: I pray for the willpower to succeed on this healthy journey, I pray for wisdom as well as motivation both physically and spiritually.
-
Happy Monday to you too! It's a new day ....No junk food for me today! Good Luck Everyone.

Willpower is a huge struggle with me. But not having it has got me where I am today. Got to change those habits or else it's just a Merry-Go-Round of bad results.
-
We have definitely all been there and I can personally relate. For me it's not about falling off of the wagon, but what I do once I'm off? Remain off, or get back on ? I think you'll be just fine as long as you get on the healthy wagon again. Good luck!

I am officially starting this challenge right now! (I kinda forgot until I saw some chips and was like "wait a minute!")....I'm ready!
-
Mines was in college. A whole frozen pizza, huge bag of chips (party size) and an entire container of dip (party size), cheese cake and alcohol. The next day I couldn't believe I ate all of that.
-
I did really well with portion control...it surprised me. (Normally I just pig out until I can't move lol) I even did the 30 Day Shred that night. I call this a Thanksgiving success!
-
This sounds like a good challenge. I'm looking forward to it.
-
Good to hear that...let's do it!
-
Awesome

I am grateful for the touch I received today at church. I really needed it.
