I am a meal prepper and this week I am doing jambalaya and salad for dinner. I prelog my food before even making it to ensure it has enough calories and nutrients for my diet.

I meal prep my snacks just to make sure that I get them each day.

One of my favorite meal preps...my take on a healthy burrito bowl. Substituting rice for cauliflower is a game changer!

I started my journey at over 400 lbs. Now I've lost over 100 and ready to finish what I started. I feel I have come too far to stop now. I have to see this weight loss through! Will be 40 next year 😬

Lost 110 lbs between 2020-2021. This year, I've maintained the weight loss (which wasn't really the goal lol) So I am back at it and plan to truly lose the rest of this weight in 2023. Any supportive friends would be great. And I will be the same for you. ~Rosy

Determine what a calorie deficit is for you: 1. Look at the past week of logging foods and deterime how many calories you average per day. I utilize the sales, especially on protein. Buy 1 pack of drumsticks get a 2nd pack half off type deals. I just put them in my freezer until I'm ready to cook. Definitely saves money.

@bzymommy5boyz Yes meal prepping is 1 of the ways that I keep myself accountable. Also being consistent with the foods I eat helps and of course logging the foods into Mfp helps me really see the nutrients that I consume and I adjust accordingly. I always watch my Salt and Fat intake. I aim to stay in healthy ranges for…

@tnenarubia Thank you so much! ❤️ Let's see, 1 piece of advice that I will give you is: Be patient with yourself. Give yourself grace; especially when becoming someone you've never been before. I hope this will help❤️

@redgolden966 Thank you. And you got this. It is so cliché...but literally just go 1 day at a time.❤️

@KarmaKamen Meal prepping can be daunting at first. I just keep it simple: proteins & veggies. Here are some past meal prep ideas I've done:

The bible talks about transformation and how it happens by the renewing of one's mind. I echo it and will say, without a driven, determined and goal oriented mindset...healthy weightloss wont happen.

I also don't have knee problems but they do make a cruching sound.

I've tried WW. It's like the opposite of MFP. On WW you focus on points. On MFP you focus more on nutrients. WW taught me how important those 0 point foods are: boneless chicken breast, all fruits, all veggies, etc. But I wasn't losing weight. I would stay in my "points" but the nutrients were all over the place. On MFP I…
