I experience the same problem. I'm freezing (in FL!), shivering, and completely flushed in the face for an hour or so. I also get ice cold for a good 30-45 mins after I eat. Anyone??

Applebees and TGIFridays have a lo cal menu and they are reasonable. But if you are really concerned about it why not save up your cheat day for the day you go out with your friends. Then you can splurge without worry.

Have you ever mentioned this to your doctor? It very well might be seasonal affective disorder. A light machine can help if that's the case. You'd be suprised how many people I know that suffer from this and have had great results with artificial light. Worth asking about.

I am dealing with the same type of lower leg pain right now as well. I thought maybe it was just my fibromyalgia acting up (it has a tendency to do that OFTEN!), but this sounds so similar. Almost any resturant will make accomodations for you if you ask. Ask for a grilled chicken breast and some steamed veggies and have the salad on the side.

:bigsmile: Love it! I feel the same way, I eat all day long. I never feel hungry. But when I'm not on track, I binge eat, feel stuffed for a short time, and them I'm starving again. Keep up the great work!!

Happens to me all the time. My guess is it happens because you are exerting pressure yet not flexing or pointing your feet so they are staying in one position for a long time.

Focus on your upper body and core exercises. Aquatics are great too, but make sure you have wrapped your ankle even in the pool. Praying you feel better soon! :flowerforyou:

Pineapple juice should do the trick. I've had this problem from meds before and this is what the dr. recommened. Only have a little because as it has a lot of sugar.

I've had TWO protein shakes today with plenty of fruit. But again, that still contains fat, sodium and sugar. What I'm looking for are foods that will eat up calories, but are have little to no fat, sugar, and sodium. I have no alloted sugar left, one fat, and a couple hundred sodium, but over 400 calories left.

I'm always hungry, so I don't mind that I have the calories, it's how to do it without messing up my sodium, fat, and sugar limits that poses the problem.

But is it ok to do so when it means it will put me over on my sugar, sodium, and fat content?

I had tons of fruit today. The problem is I am at my sugar limit.

I forgot to ask...is it better to go over my other limits (sodium, fat, sugar) in order to eat back those calories or to just shut it down for the day?

I've heard that substituting applesauce for butter works well. You might have to do a little research on the measurements though.

First of all, if symbicort is not working talk to your doctor about switching to advair or asthmanex as a preventative. Prevention is key. In the meantime, try something with more regulated breathing like yoga or pilates.

Try the atkins shakes. They are high in fiber and protein and very low in sugar. I love them.

So I just saw what Poutine is. Very similar, but what kind of cheese is on that? Different type of fries, and the cheese is mozzarella in melted over the top of the whole thing. It may very well have been my first meal. lol

Jersey Disco Fries, with ketchup, and a plate of pickles on the side! For those of you who have never experienced Disco Fries they are steak fries covered in brown gravy with melted mozzarella cheese on top. Best. Food. EVER! :bigsmile:
