mines the complete opposite, MapMyWalk just registered 660calories for a 2hr 45min 10.2km my HRM registered 1639 cals and it doesnt sync with MFP,. it syncs with facebook and Fitbit but on MFP just fitbit lists calories earned

i wouldnt think it'd cause an issue, the unit itself is self contained and cant be penetrated by water, but the Chlorine may well bleach the color of the band. no way in hell is your TDEE only 1570 unless you are doing absolutely nothing, in which case, move your butt and eat more. your BMR maybe 1570 your TDEE is everything ontop of just breathing and basic moving about. your BMR is what your body need to run your organs.
