  • I didn't give up on sugar completely. What I did was I set my sugar intake to the guidelines of ADA daily intake for guys to 45 grams (or 9 teaspoons). I try to limit my sugars to that guideline and bought products that were low in sugar and remove sugar to things I consciously add. Like for example I got french vanilla…
  • a good sugar replace I found was Coconut Palm Sugar. I found that it helped me sort of not have as many sugar crashes since its not fully processed. So I would recommend that and also just to ween off sugar each day. So rather than 3 teaspoons of sugar in your coffee go with 1 teaspoon. Just do it slowly until you can…

  • How much water are you drinking? Dehydration can cause you to feel dizzy especially when your working out. Great test to see if your pee is close to a tea color or yellow then your aren't hydrated. Try drinking like 2 or 3 cups of water before you work out and bring some water with you as you work out.

  • Did you do cardio after your workout? If so then you won't ache as much than if you just did your stronglifts.
  • The best advice when it comes to cardio is to do something recreational that you love and do that for your cardio. Like playing soccer, rollerblading, walking, bike riding, basketball, anything that gets you moving and your not thinking that your doing cardio is probably the best cardio
  • I wouldn't fret over it as much. I mean there is a reason your finace is marrying you besides your breasts =P. If it were me I would be doing exercises to build up your pectoral muscles (the muscles behind the breasts). Maybe take some estrogen pills to help boost them up. I found this article not sure if it will help but…

  • The best way I have found with plateaus is that increasing the activites you do helps break plateaus and being patient because your body is adjusting to the new weight so once it equalizes with hormones and such then you will start to lose again.
  • Added you. Everyone else feel free to add me. I am great at motivating people =D
  • Push ups, Side planks, bench press, lunges, leg lifts, side leg lifts, cross leg raise abduction, bicep curls, forearm curls, dumbell back rows.....I could go on but those are I think are the best and work the most of the body.
  • Any activity is going to have a claim of being bad for some part of the body. Thats just a fact of life. But you have to listen to your body and adjust to make sure that you don't seriously injure yourself. I have actually read articles that running is good for your joints and helps improve the cartilage.…
  • You need to eat more than just 1000 calories. Not to mention I would recommend eating back at least half of your calories burned from working out. Think of it this way: If your metabolism is a campfire, the initial firewood is calories already stored in your body. the spark is you exercising and starting the fire. You…
  • I'm 27 feel free to add me as well. Great motivator =D
  • I replaced most if not all of my added sugar with Agave Nectar and Honey. Granted yes its still considered sugar but its not overly procressed. Plus with someone who is hypoglycemic, I don't feel my blood sugar spiked or drop after eating it. ANd I have been using less and don't go through withdrawls of sugar as much. The…
  • If your not a fan of exercising then maybe try some recreational sports or activities that would keep you motivated. Like actgually yesterday I cancelled my gym membership because I wasn't going and I couldnt get motivated to go every single time. Whereas right now I am walking during my lunch breaks, playing guitar while…
  • Well for me I don't just use the scale. I use the tape measurements too. Reason being that muscle is denser than fat, so you might have lost body fat (which is good!) and gain muscle. I also take progress pictures just to see that I have physically changed rather than just the number on the scale. So if you do just those…
  • I have tried juicing and I enjoy it. I know which movie your talking about and frankly his method is a bit extreme. I would recommend if you are going to do juicing is to replace one meal with a juice and get a nutribullet. It keeps all the fibers and extra juice that is lost from other juicers within. Not to mention its…

  • Considering that you haven't gone out drinking since New Years I would say go have fun. This is your night to celebrate the new you. One night of drinking and eating unhealthy wont make you completely gain all 12 ibs back. At most maybe a pound. So I wouldn't threat about undoing your accomplishments. But if you want to be…
