I sure hope this is the way it works! Something to look forward too! Because of my height 5 foot 2 I am at 1200 calories a day. Needless to say I work out hard to get a few extra calories. So jealous of tall women and men, looking at others who have over a 1600 calorie a day. Wow, what I could do with that many calories lol

narrowing it down to one reason is almost impossible. But my cholesterol was through the roof before I begin this journey. Doc said to do something about it.

my philosophy is if it fits into your calories for the day. Then you can eat it. Thats whats great about this plan.

not a breakfast eater. Love my coffee in the mornings. I buy GNC lean shakes and I can seem to get those down. I am an early riser so if I don't eat something I will binge my lunchtime. On weekends, I will join the family and have two scrambled eggs and a slice of wheat toast.

awesome post! agreed! In addition, we need to SEEK OUT people to support us with like interests. So we do have support groups. Our families my not be interested in what we are doing, it doesn't make the wrong or right, it just makes them human!

what I have found amazing about mfp is that it is not another diet. Its a way of life. I have learned how to have a friendship with food again, so to speak. Yes. I started about 6 months ago taking a daily vitamin. I drink protein shakes for breakfast and whey protein shakes after workouts. I feel much better now.

I am 5 foot 2 and no matter what my activity level is 1200 a day is always what it comes back to. I think, its a curse for short women! I have tried them all. I like GNC Lean shakes the best. As with all protein shakes they must be drank very cold or they taste like chalk.
