hamburger, small fries and water to drink or 4 chicken nuggets and water.

wow! Great job!

lol. Tell her that you will continue this conversation in 3 months and see whose theory works better :)

I went through this at one point in my weight loss too. I think i was at the -30 range. My pants were getting way to big but the scale got stuck. I decided not to weigh myself for a month and focus solely on the inches, amp up my exercise and weigh and measure my food a little better. Before I knew it the scale starting…

Good job! Best thing I gave up when I started this! :) Keep it up! You won't even remember why you drank it in a few months!

whole natural almonds

I went from a 38 D to a 34 B. Ouch.

I lost most of my weight walking, running and weightlifting at home. I decided not long ago that I wanted to lift heavier. So I started back at the gym. The only question I have now is WHY, OH WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG? Now I drive 20 minutes there, and 20 minutes back and have to remind myself not to overdo it by staying to…

weights. Well, you asked :). I could not imagine losing all this weight without the benefits that came along with lifting. I might have felt skinny without lifting, but because I incorporated cardio and weightlifting I feel FIT.

in the mornings after going to the bathroom but before my coffee. I weigh in every day however I only check in here if I have lost at least 1/2 pound or have gained over 1/2 pound. When I step on the scale later on in the afternoon it always reflects all my water intake and my meals. LOL

why not both? I never understood why we either have to be weightlifters, runners, cross-fitters etc. I love them all and do what I feel like doing! Sometimes at the gym, I weigh-lift then hit the track. Other days I hit the machines and look at the treadmills with contempt. lol

I remember how that feels. I knew I was overweight and wanted to lose but didn't know where to start and then there was the excuses. I was sad so I would eat, tired so I would eat, mad so I would eat and so on. For years I was trying to lose weight for all the wrong reasons. So my husband would be more attracted, my…

I am 119 lbs 5 foot 2 and a size 3. I never intended to get down to a size 3, just happened. :)

agreed! :)

My brain has not caught up to my body. I still feel overweight and self consciousness. I still look in the mirror and see the old me. I am now wearing the same size as my 19 year old daughter and realistically know that I am a healthy weight and am only 4 lbs from my goal weight. I am so afraid of going back to where I was…

I have a digital one. It measures in both grams and ounces. I love it! Especially for chicken and other meat. I use mine daily. I started with a none digital one and switched a few weeks later. It is pretty accurate and only costs about $25 dollars. Plus its stainless steal and looks good in the kitchen. :)

I want to try this! heading to world marking on Friday, how many calories go along with the great flavor? I try to buy sugar free as much as possible.

I am wondering if your weighing and measuring your food? I eat 1200 a day and if I am under I can always find somewhere to put a little more down lol. :) 24 almonds is 163 calories or a bowl of special k cereal and skim milk does the trick. I just don't feel good the next day if I don't eat enough.

I just suddenly realized why so many men get friend zoned so quickly. LOL

LOL sorry.... as you can see its been a topic in my house lately! :)

My 19 year olds daughters self set rules and requirements, She is a beautiful college student. 1. he has to have a job and plans for a future or the date never happens 2. he must not drink a lot and never on the first date. 3. He pays for the first date, what he does on the first date shows what kind of man he is. (sorry…

I agree. Usually when the scale is not moving, I have underestimated my food intake, got lazy with weighing and measuring and overestimated my workout calories. Every time I log correctly, I lose weight. Always.

Ya, but no one will be laughing when your nearing goal weight....not even you.

I feel ya! Husband has his cookies but I stay away. We don't buy junk food much any more. I didn't request that this happen but hubby stopped buying this stuff about 4 months into my new lifestyle. Guess he likes the new me! Love the support and he loves the drop in the grocery bill! When we go grocery shopping he is…

I do jillian Michaels. I hear a lot of men do it as well. It incorporates the weights with the cardio. I was watching her advertisement for her body revolution the other night and many men find that it does wonders. MY son in law did the 30 day shred with me, level one, back in October, he is in the military and in pretty…

agree with the women above. Big difference between sore and pain. I do my high intensity workout one day and run or jog the next. This gives my muscles a chance to "heal" but still gives me exercise everyday. Everyone is different. But I have come to enjoy that soreness but I guess I am weird. lol

I went to a dietitian once. As she sat across from me, it was hard to take her seriously since she was obese. As long as it fits within your calorie intake for the day, you can eat it!

I was never a breakfast eater when I was heavy. Now I eat breakfast. I have to because Im now hungry plus I enjoy my meals more and feel better. After my morning workout I find that breakfast is necessary. It may be just a protein drink or a measured out portion of special k cereal with skim milk but I have to eat and I…

I have lost a ton of weight. I eat McDonalds. A hamburger is not going to kill me once in a while. French fries are not going to kill me either. I eat pizza too! I have to live with the eating habits I develop now for the rest of my life. I have to be realistic otherwise I will fail, like I have in the past.

These posts are so inspiring! I knew I had been packing on the pounds and I had been feeling drained and tired. We took a trip to see my son graduate from basic training and the drive was really long. My back, feet and body hurt like heck. I had no energy to do the things everyone wanted to do. Then the moment came. We had…
