I am worried about loose skin, like a lot of other people seem to be. I have been overweight since probably 2nd grade, so this is a huge fear for me. I've been trying suggestions here and on other sites to hopefully minimize the issue, but only time will tell on that one.

Great job! You look like a different person, happier and healthier! Great transformation and keep up the amazing work!

27, 5'10 Female SW: 320 CW: 313 GW: 140-170 Occupation - Freelance writer/novelist I am trying to get into yoga every day. I used to do that, but fell out of it. I also want to go to the gym at least 3 days a week and get myself to eat more veggies.

Thanks for the outpouring of support! Went back through and added you. I'm really looking forward to getting (re)started.

27 with no kids. Anyone can add me :). I started at 320lbs.

What to call me: Samantha or Sam Birthday: July 16, 1986 Where I'm from: Indiana Weight loss goals: Not really sure, but I want to lose around 150 pounds. Healthy weight is like 140-170? So I'll get down there and see. My maxim: It varies weekly, but I typically find a simple "Keep running" to be sufficient. A little more…

I'm Samantha, freelance writer and novelist, so I spend most of my time sitting at a desk. I'm also a gamer so that tends to be a problem. I'm 27, single, no kids, flexible job, so it seems like it would be easy to just get out there and do things, but it's not. I would love to find friends to keep me motivated and on…

I have been inactive for a while, but I am going to try... yet gain. My name is Samantha and I live in Indiana. I am a writer and, as such, spend a great deal of time sitting on my butt all day long so I can get work done. Breaking up my day is hard for me because as soon as I distract myself with something else, I stop…

I have to take it in small chunks and reward myself as often as possible otherwise it gets too overwhelming. I focus on small changes in my everyday life instead of trying to sprint right out of the gate.

Absolutely! Thanks for the friend request.

I bought a size 18 pair of pants. I'm in a 20/22 right now, and the 18s certainly give me motivation to work toward them. I just have to keep them visible to remind myself that they are there and my butt needs to get moving to get to that size!

I am probably going to HAVE to log forever. Otherwise I tend to not make the most responsible food choices and end up gaining it all back =/ This is try #3 for me as far as this dieting/lifestyle change plan goes, and I always derail as soon as I stop logging and making myself accountable.

I need something to get me motivated and back in the game, so why not? I'll go for 50, but if I am feeling super motivated I'll just take it further. I'll do my tracking through RunKeeper and my BodyMedia :)

Nothing. I'm actually in the process of moving to somewhere I love far more. What I like about THAT location is everything - mountains, wildlife, flowers, rivers, fishing, snow... It has all the things I really enjoy.

Yo! This is SKP1986. Also known as Napalm Nova. I wanted a fresh start and this is where I ended up. Just wanted to clear up any confusion and maybe get things back on track.

Sent a request. Starting weight is 320 and goal is 140-160, so I have over 100 to lose definitely! I haven't weighed myself in a while, but I am going to on April 1 and see what's what again. Otherwise I get scale crazy.

My exercise varies day to day. I like to change it up. Sometimes I walk, sometimes I go for a slow jog. I have several workout DVDs and I do what I can as I try to build up stamina. I'm trying to work up to being able to finish the 30 Day Shred, but I'm just not there yet, so I work on different things every day for now. I…

I sent you a request!

Off to a good start so far :) I switched potato chips out for veggie chips instead and found a brand and flavor I like and I am cutting out soda and upping water intake. It's the little changes that count!

Hello! I am new. I am 26 years old and starting this journey at 320 pounds, which is my highest weight. I'm trying to get down to somewhere between 140-160. I've never been thin, but I would like to be fitter and healthier so I can actually do the things I've always enjoyed doing. I am more out of shape now than I ever…

I'm a writer so I spend a lot of time sitting at my desk (at home) on the computer. I have a basket with baggies full of healthy/healthier snacks. Each baggie is 1 serving of whatever snack. I have veggie chips, dried fruit, nuts, etc in my basket. All I have to do is reach over and grab a baggie and I know exactly how…

I have a lot of weight to lose. Just started anew on my journey and would love some interesting, supportive friends.

I'm 26, solidly in 'morbid obesity' category and wanting to get that under control. Taking it 10 pounds at a time. Working on overcoming an addiction to food (particularly junk and 'feel good' foods) and being able to exercise more intensely for longer periods of time, if only so I can function better in the "real world."
