I wouldn't worry too much about what your heart rate is at unless you have a medical condition. Otherwise just jog until you can't anymore then walk until you catch your breath a bit then jog again....gradually decrease walking time and increase jogging time.

I loved the Arctic Enema...was refreshing. I loved the obstacles that involved strength like carrying my team mate and the log....I hated the electric shock....i got shocked like 8 times crawling through the mud and was stuck behind a real slow person!

The plan is that you do level 1 for 10 days then switch to Level 2 for 10 days and level 3 for 10 days....totalling 30 days (hence 30 day shred)....but you don't have to do it that way you can switch to level 2 whenever you feel ready and take days off if you need them too.
