  • I recently completed Insanity the end of May. I started about a month after giving birth to my fifth child. Over the course of Insanity, I lost 14lbs and 20" inches. Now I am alternating the 3 max Insanity workouts (plus insane abs) with running and I have lost another 5lbs (not sure of inches as I have not measured again…
  • That would be awesome if he would be willing to share his recipe. Thanks so much!
  • I will let you know how it turns out if I decide to try making it.
  • Way to go! looking good! I too just finished Insanity in the end of May. I started about 1 month after giving birth toy fifth child. I was incredibly amazed with my results. I lost 14lbs and 20". I since have gone on to lose another 5 lbs (not sure on inches as I haven't measured again). I'm sure you'll be so proud of your…
  • Yes! Definitely take measurements. I was a little hesitant to take measurements in the beginning because I didn't think I would actually lose that many inches. Boy was I wrong!
  • I will finish Insanity tomorrow. I started it about 1 month after giving birth to my 5th child. Halfway through (last time I did measurements) I lost 14.5 inches. I will be measuring again tomorrow after I have completed the program and I will post my final results here if I think of it. I have also lost 14lbs and my…
  • I use an app called JEFit.
  • MFP sets your macronutrients (carbs, protein and fat) so that you have a goal % to reach each day. I tweaked mine according to the Insanity nutrition guide to get more protein and less carbs for optimal results. I also eat very clean (very little processed foods-no crackers, cereal, granola bars, etc). Does that help a…
  • I did not follow an eating plan per say but I did track calories and eat very cleanly. I try to keep my macros in the following %: protein=40%, carbs=40% and fat=20%. I really had to up my protein from what I had been eating previously. Hope that helps. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
  • The 14 lbs is as of now. The 14.5 inches is as of the middle of April. I'm hoping/expecting to lose more inches and I will find out tomorrow when I measure again. I did not have a whole lot to lose. In fact, I am 1 lb away from my goal weight (125) and I have a feeling I will hit that tomorrow. I started out at 140.4 and…

  • I, too, am starting insanity on 3/25. I will be almost 5 weeks postpartum and have 7 lbs to get back to my prepregnancy weight. I am hoping to firm up and lose a litte weight.
  • This was in responce to judogrll. :) Glad to see so many halfers! :) Hopefully we will be able to share some tips and secrets with each other.
  • That is pretty much the plan I am using. I just moved things around so that Mondays and Saturdays are my rest days. Do you have any advice/tips for those who are just beginning? How far were you running before you started this program? Just curious. Congrats on your half marathon!
  • Ok. Thanks,. I know what lunges are, but I am not totally sure what squats are. I already hold weights in my hands and then bend at the knees and go all the way down. Are these squats?
