Thank you! I didn't work out with my previous pregnancies and I wish I would have.

39 weeks pregnant

Msstatz. I'm not due until 4/14 but I have been tracking during my pregnancy.
-
I'm due the middle of April so we are pretty close.
-
I added you.

Steel cut oats in the crockpot every morning here. Really filling and yummy.

I thought I would introduce myself. I am pregnant with number six and I have children ages 12, 9, 8, 5 and 21 months. I am due mid April and I would like to keeping unnecessary pregnancy weight gain to a minimum. I workout every day. I run or do stairs with hand weights alternated with body resistance/core/resistance…

I'll add you!

I can't add you. It says your account is deactivated.
-
I added you as a friend too. I would love to hear about your eating habits and workouts.

I'm almost 24 weeks here with #6. I would love more pregnant friends to help keep me motivated. I'll add both of you.
-
Yes. Always.
-
Congrats on your pregnancy! I am currently 21.5 weeks pregnant with #6 and I too am trying to minimize unnecessary weight gain and be healthier overall. I will add you as a friend

So far I haven't run into any trouble. I'm 20 weeks but my belly isn't very big. I make sure not to strain or hold my breath. Congrats and good luck on maintaining a healthy pregnancy!

I always work out before my kids are up. My alarm is set for 450 7 days a week. Would getting up early be an option?

I don't have a stair machine but I walk the stairs and a t is a great workout for me at 19 weeks pregnant.

For those of you that do circuit training and burn 500+, what is your height/weight? I am 18 weeks pregnant and have been doing 50 minute workouts with 5 min of walking stairs with 5-8lb hand weights alternated with free weights and body weight exercises (weighted squats, tricep dips, etc). My HRM says that I burn about…

Thanks! I am comfortable gaining weight. I just don't want to put on any more weight than necessary. With my other babies, I gained up to 40lbs due to simple overindulging on whatever I felt like. I did lose the weight quickly after birth but I would like to try to stay in shape this pregnancy. I just feel better about…

Thanks for your response!

Hmmm... Ok. That is kinda what I was thinking too. I only lifted for about 3-4 minutes at a time so my heart rate did stay up the whole time but it still seems a little high to me. Thanks for replying.

After the baby, I will start walking immediately. I will start insanity or the new insanity 6 weeks postpartum. How about you?
-
You look great! Keep up the hard work! Foxgl0ve-when is your due dat? Mine is april 14.
-
I'm 17 weeks and have just recently gotten back to eating healthy and working out.
-
My husband is the same way. Do you log food and exercise? What guidelines are you following while working out? I'm basically just making sure I don't get too tired or out of breath. Are you keeping your heart rate under 140? I have recently read that the 140 guideline is no longer followed.

I would like to start a facebook group to share stories and motivation with other mamas if anyone is interested.
-
I'm ready to start. I will take my measurements tomorrow morning. Here we go!
-
Mine came in the mail yesterday!
-
I can't seem to find the group. I am starting PiYo on the 7th and would love to join!

I am almost done with it. Halfway through, I lost 11 inches and 12.2lbs. I started at 135lbs. I do not miss workouts ever and I am very strict with eating healthy during the week (I'm a little more lenient on the weekend). Insanity works if you are willing to put forth the time and effort.

Thanks for your advice. I found an app called JEFIT that I think I am going to start out with and see how it goes. Thanks again!
