  • I have lost about 50 lbs, went from a 42 DD to a 38 DD. But they have def shrunk, My Fiance will attest to that.
  • I would suggest speaking with you endocrinologist ( Diabetes Dr.) about how you could change up you diet to help lose weight. Talk to him about Glucerna, its a shake made for diabetics ( my dad uses - he is Type 2 brittle), they have ones that are for snacks and then ones for meal replacement. You do not want to replace to…
  • Yea, I think I will stick with my PB2. At 100 cal for 2 tbsp that's just a bit too high for me.
  • I am about the same in stats as you. 5'6, 188lbs and a BMR of 1599. I try to eat around 1600 a day and I only walk for my exercise, I was in a plateau before because I was snacking well over my 1600, but once i got myself back down I started losing again. I think with your activity level you should be eating more. You may…
  • I think that was the first and last glimpse of Terminus we will get until next season and I am not liking the feeling there already. Way Too Quite, no guards, not even any locks and ten they happen upon one person. It's either some kind of religious cult or could be the cannibals.
  • I hardly ever use measuring spoons and cups since getting my scale unless its to put my food in to weight it. I use a measuring cup for my almond milk and that's it, everything else gets put on the scale.
  • I started my journey last year wearing a 42 DD, now I am in a 38 DD, but trust me when I say that 42 DD cup size was alot larger than my current 38DD., I feel like I should be wearing a C instead. and I still have about 45lbs to goal and I am afraid that I am going to be losing more of my boobs.
  • I have to get the lower sodium kind, but I add about a tablespoon of some kin of sugar free jam/jelly/preserve.
  • Here are some ideas that may help. Eat more fruits and veggies in the evening, get some low calorie snacks, eat more protein and get rid of any tempting food that would make you want to snack in the evening. When you get the urge that your bored and hungry grab a bottle of water and walk around drinking it. After drinking…
  • I usually mix a tablespoon of sugar free raspberry or blackberry jam/jelly in with mine. I can't stand it plain it tastes too salty to me and I get a lower sodium version
  • I am not lactose intolerant, but I only use Silk Light Soy milk on my cereal either the plain or vanilla. My son loves the Silk Very Vanilla Soy milk.
  • How often do you eat out, the reason I ask is because that is the food that your basically estimating because you have no way to measure your portions. Also how much is your deficit, since you don't have much to lose I wouldn't try to do more than 1 lb a week. try figuring out what your BMR is and not eating below that. I…
  • I have lost over 40lbs and most of my exercise has been from walking.... I started out doing 5,000 steps and am at between 13 and 16,000 steps a day. But I would not have lost anything hadn't it been for me eating at a deficit. No matter what kind of exercise you do or don't do it all comes down to your diet, you have to…
  • O, yes. Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Kisses are only 20 cal each. I have between 2 and 4 regularly.
  • I had to do the same thing. The only two things I asked for was a digital scale and a weight set, Knew I wasnt gonna get the weight set, but at least i got a gift card so I could pick out the scale I wanted. I was using a non digital prior and boy i love the exact and precise measurements I am getting.
  • I have the same problem with my son too. I figured out what the problem was, they eat lunch at 10:30 am and school starts at 730. He just wasnt hungry and it was usually on the days he would eat a big breakfast. So i just make sure to pack something he will at least snack on, even if he doesn't eat his sandwich or main…
  • I weigh myself every morning approx 530 am after going to bathroom. I also log it into an app on my phone called Libra. I used to go by my weight on Friday morning and log that into MFP, because that was usually my low day, but now I wait a day or two. If I get the same reading a couple days in a row then that is my new…
  • Bump, I wish there was an option for an easy print on posts like these or someway to save into a recipe folder
  • The XXX Flavor is about the only one I truly like, and I can't drink them cold I have to drink them warm. For some reason, not just XXX flavor, all of them have no taste to me when they are cold, even the full calorie version.
  • I use Reduced Fat Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil
  • at the end of Feb I was 238 my current weight is 197.2 end of year goal weight is 180 Not too sure I am going to make it, but I am going to try. My ultimate goal is around 150.
  • I am trying to get down to 180 by Christmas, at 196.6 right now. Not sure if I will make it but will try my darndest. Also hoping to be completely out of size 18, right now I have some 18's and some 16's. Wishing I can get into a 14 even if they are tight.
  • that's not true. walking is movement and movement burns calories. Your body can't tell whether you are walking for exercise or walking to the bathroom. I have lost 40lbs by just walking and eating at a deficit. It counts. All physical activity counts.
  • O, yes. I love me some dark chocolate. Right now it is the dark Chocolate Hershey kisses, they are 20 cal each and I usually have about 4 after dinner, kind of completes the meal to me and also keeps me from eating anything else.
  • I say ask the bride or someone in the bridal party if at all possible if your unsure. It looks awesome on you, by the way. Maybe take a pic with the sweater or shawl you plan to wear and send it to bride to make sure it would be appropriate.
  • The only drink I add to my water is my water. All other drinks get listed in my food diary.
  • Another suggestion is to keep track of your sodium, tooo much and you'll be retaining water. Also calculate your TDEE and then subtract 20% this should be the amount of calories you should eat but also don't eat below your BMR - this is what your body needs just for being in a coma. here's a link to find out your TDEE…
  • I try and use the recipe builder as much as I can, especially on my phone that way I can scan bar codes - so much easier. My problem is serving size or portions per recipe, I end up changing it later that night on my computer. Whats hard is when I am making something that I don't measure the ingredients, like my spaghetti…
  • I have a Fitbit zip that keeps track of my steps, when I first got it i would log about 5,000 but now I am upto 12,000 a day. Sometime i can hit 13 or 14,000. It's hard some days. I walk my son to school during the week and on the weekends I wake up early and walk around the neighborhood. At work i get up more often then…
