I hear that. I felt nauseous at the last 1/2 mile but pushed through and it stopped.

It is my fault. I am not sure of this community message board etiquette. Thanks though! I feel really empowered.

You are right! This was from an old post that people asked me to post my results on. I did the race today and completed 2 minutes better than my personal best. The hills were motivating in the end. Finished in a modest 30:53. Can't wait to chip my time down more.

I beat my best time by 2 minutes!

You will kill your metabolism. I was on a 800 calorie diet for months and didn't drop a pound and I was exercising like mad. I hired a trainer, he put me on a 1600 calorie diet and told me to cut my work outs from double days to once a day and I dropped weight like it was nothing.

My first I could not move for 7 months. My bladder, uterus and abdominal walk had all adhered to one another. I could not even think about exercise. After the second I haven't had any issues. Just the scar. It feels so tight and I always have a mental image of it bursting open if I strain it.

I did and they said I am fine I should be able to any type of exercise. I was thinking that I may just need to break up some scar tissue? I try to stretch it out every few weeks and it does seem to get less painful as the months go by.

Only insecure people who do not understand true self worth do that.

I am not competing. I just want the lifestyle back. As long as I finish I will be happy. I just don't want to be unrealistic. Thank you for all of the encouraging words. I am excited for the race again! Even if I have to walk a bit.
