Good job! I can't imagine losing my husband and good for you for taking such a devastating challenge and turning it into something better .

As someone who was about 30 pounds overweight when I became pregnant with my second, I would recommend losing as much as is safe and possible for you before you get pregnant. It is better to lose 30 pounds, then gain 30-40 with a pregnancy, then to be 30 pounds heavier, gain 30-40 lbs, then try to lose baby weight PLUS…

Awesome! what have you been doing to get it off?

good to know! thanks for sharing and congrats for getting off that plateau!

Exercise definitely helps transform your body, but you need to eat good healthy food to fuel your body to burn off the fat and build muscle. You could workout 2 hours or more a day, but eat junk and not lose weight, or workout and eat healthy food within a good calorie range and lose weight and tone.

Im starting the second week of P90X today. I love it!

Great job! Thats a huge accomplishment. Keep up the good work!

I have a 4 cup water bottle and I make sure I drink at least two bottles in a day. You would be amazed how fast you can drink some water when its in a water bottle! And I wouldn't drink kool-aid because it has A LOT of sugar and that would sort of defeat the purpose.

There is a calisthenics option (push-ups, sit-ups) and I often log my ab workout there. I dont know how accurate it is, so i sometimes lower the minutes to a number that I think sounds more accurate.

I've been able to get mine to shrink down, (I did natural childbirth twice) but I have a little pouch above my belly button that kinda just hangs there and I would love to get that down nice and flat. I just keep doing my workouts to help it go down.

I've heard losing weight is 70% food, 20% exercise and 10% genetics. Good job!

I have workout videos I do in my basement. (we still have a TON of snow up here in northern Canada) I get up on busy days around 6 and non-busy days at 7 to workout and sometimes the kids wake up (4 and 20 months) and other times they stay asleep. If they are awake, I let them watch t.v. and they are good to go while I…

I dont eat my exercise calories. This has been the first time in my life that I have been told to eat back what you burn. Can you imagine the contestants on the biggest loser being told to eat back what they burn? They wouldn't lose a thing! I've watched a lot of other weight loss shows where they lay out the eating and…

Im in the same boat. Can't seem to shake it!

Wow, thats impressive! I need to get my butt in gear to lose more that 1.5lbs a week.
-
Awesome! I wish I looked as good as you!

I agree. The extra cals come from the nuts and other snacks they eat. Go to slice.ca and you can download a meal plan from the shows nutritionist that is for 1500-1600 cals a day.

Awesome! You look amazing and I too have discovered that eating more equals less. Here's to the 130's!!

Awesome! Good job~

My spine digs into the floor when I do leg lifts and it drives me nuts. I wouldn't have it any other way though!

Im with you on that. I like many others want to lose, but really, I dont have a specific time line. I already feel good about dressing for summer, and know that if I keep doing what I have been doing, I will get to where I want to be by then, and that includes a few treats here and there. As long you you are making the…

Im 5'7.

Wow, you look awesome!

Thank you everyone! It was the boost I needed to hear. I'm stuck on a plateau right now and hearing some positive reinforcement helps me remember to keep pushing!
-
I thought I did that right but I didn't. I'll figure it out!
-
Awesome! You are exactly like me! Same starting weight and similar goal weight and height! Nice to see someone who has accomplished that. Gives me hope. 20 pounds to go!
-
My too! Mondays is a weigh-in day for me, so it'll be perfect!

I just bought a MIO HRM but I am having trouble figuring it all yet. Its not counting my calories as I exercise, but other than that, its ok.

Grab some Fiber One bars or Kellogs Fiber Plus bars. They are tasty and filling. Quaker Oatmeal packets are also a good choice.

Thanks for the info! I haven't used it in a workout yet (will be in about 10 mins) so I guess I will have to wait and see how it goes!
