I agree, it would be great to see "Goals During Maintenance" No future marathons for me but: I have started the 30 day squat challenge to ramp up my toning Included 3-4 days of yoga to my fitness plan eat more green salad drink herbal teas Anyone else?

I really love all those that were mentioned, but can manage them pretty well. But really, Capn Crunch and Poptarts are my gateway (to days of unhealthy eating) drugs

My favorite too.

Whenever we travel we bring instant oatmeal for breakfast. Chances are your room will have a coffeepot so you can boil water and make yourself a cup of oatmeal in the morning. This is better than donuts or bagels on the go and should satisfy until lunch.

I've been on maintenance for only a week and it may be too early to remark, but this is my second time on maintenance. The first time was with Weight Watchers and I maintained that weight pretty happily for years. Then my new goal was to decrease my weight just a bit more....just to have a buffer so my WW goal weight was…

I buy clothes soon after losing weight or else I'll just grow right back into my larger clothes. I posted this elsewhere but I went shopping for a new swimsuit since I lost a few pounds and the old one, was just old. My old one fit okay but was not so flattering. When I went to the store I tried on a bunch of swimsuits the…

Thank you. I do have to say I'm a bit nervous about going on maintenance here with all of the FREEdom. Paying for WW is at least a bit of an incentive. But I do look forward to seeing how responsible and focused I can be without cost hanging over my head. :)

Yes, I'm logging yoga also. I think I am going to begin that 30 day squat tomorrow to target some inches. So that will be more logging.

Oh no....thanks. I needed to know this for maintenance as well. I have a tendency to challenging myself in unhealthy ways by seeing how low I can go. Committing to maintenance helps me commit to being healthy. You see how I wondered if I should be eating less instead of eating more? I can pretty easily go into starvation…

Of course! Thanks. This is very helpful. I almost never eat back my calories so I think I can truly "rest" without "cheating."

got you beat at 4'8" It is hard, though in the last month I lost 5 lbs so now 5 lbs lower than my goal weight for Weight Watchers but at 105.5 now at my personal goal thanks to mfp. What has helped me most is to get rid of the clothes that are too big as soon as possible. This week I fit into a Juniors swimsuit for the…

You look great! I bet you are feeling even better. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

Wow! That sounds more like a 3-month goal for me. :)

[quote} ...YEAH SHE LITERALLY MEANS 1000 TIMES..... seriously? ...dont be ****'s lol [/quote] Given that the topic is focused on accuracy, perhaps people should be more careful about their claims. Admittedly, had she even said that the HRM is 50% more accurate, I would have challenged that claim too. It is my belief that…

Thanks! I pinned it to my Pinterest Health and Wellness board. I'm collecting a few different sit-up exercises to keep me from being bored. Good luck to you too!

After getting past my tear long plateau I'm finally at my personal goal weight. So for April my challenge is to maintain it. I got a new swimsuit this week so that's my incentive. :) Also, as much as I exercise, my lower abs are so incredibly weak. I can do lots of crunches, but not one single sit-up. I think…

This just happened to me the other day. After losing 5 pounds (i'm only 4'8" so this is pretty significant), I went to the store to try on swimsuits. I went straight to the women's swimsuits and began trying on suits that fit me last year and I looked so dumpy. I though, "wow, I'm not as thin as I thought." So I went up a…

Enjoying food by cooking and trying new healthy foods and recipes all of the time. Staying engaged with the food I eat, which includes tracking my food is the one thing that keeps my weight maintained.
-
just ate (and tracked) 4 mini Whopper robin eggs and a peep. Not many calories at all (60 total), but still not worth it so I should have avoided them. Not sure how I'll do the rest of the day, but I'm cooking so can control the holiday a bit better, but most important promise is to track it all.

Just looked through all of the pictures and all of you look great! But it's not just the weight loss....I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice that each of you look so much younger after you've lost weight. Did you all notice that too? Beautiful....just beautiful!
-
Thank you. You too. :)

See....that's what I say.

Jazzercise has great dvds too. I bought one last year for snow days when classes are cancelled. The Dancin' Abs one makes me sweat here at home probably more than I do during a class since I don't have ceiling fans or keep the temp down so low during the winter in my house.

Those are the days...the heaviest and most uncomfortable..are when I push myself to the gym. I mean, it may not feel like something I want to do, but within 10 or 15 minutes of my Jazzercise class, I feel so much better than I did and that strong feeling stays with me the whole day. I find too that the exercise on those…

That's awesome!!

Congratulations! Feels good to know you can do it, huh? Thanks for sharing. :)

I love it too. Even my family loves it. They don't go. They just make sure I don't miss more than a day of Jazzercise or I get mopey and make the family miserable. Jazzerise keeps the family happy. :) Glad you are loving it too.

Thanks for posting your story and pics. So inspiring to see. :)
