One step at a time, and the fact that you've taken that first step is fantastic, good luck on your journey and I hope you've found employment :)

I've lost 133lbs so far and still going downwards. I was offered a gastric band recently to speed up the last few stones prior to surgery but my response was no thanks - I got myself into this mess, I'll get myself out of it. The secret is not to set too big a goal, and don't beat yourself up if you have a bad day, what's…

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1998. It made me slow down and my weight shot up to almost 27 stones before I found the inner strength to fight back. Im currently just over 17 stones but my joints hurt just the same and the pain never goes away. My struggle now is a mental one as my head still tells me im a size 34…

One step at a time, don't try to rush, good luck.

Eeeerm, Jabba the Hutt springs to mind whenever I look in the mirror, its not a pretty sight I'm afraid, but I'm hopeful that I'll be able to have surgery soon to tighten it. Although the stretch marks will always be there, they're proof that I've lived and given life to four fantastic kids! Don't try and lose weight too…

I was on an all inclusive holiday two weeks ago. I just made sure I ate plenty of fish, meat and salad, and stuck mainly to melon and fruit for dessert. I had a few Baileys, and a couple of ice creams, but did a lot of swimming and walking, and when I got home I'd maintained my pre-holiday weight, so I was really pleased.…

I've lost 130lbs without any meds or WLS. I'm waiting for an op and have been asked to lose another 56lbs, and NOW they offer me a gastric band. I've declined it as I got myself into this situation without help, so I'm getting out of it without help. That way I know I can finally feel proud of myself for achieving…

Well, look at me today!!! Getting closer to my goal and the surgery that I worked so hard to gain funding for!

Suddenly I'm starting to look a more 'normal' size, just very overweight rather than super obese, and to be honest it's scaring me - I've been so used to being the butt of jokes over the last thirty years or so that it's hard to get into my head that I don't stick out in a crowd as much now. My head is a mess, I keep…

Fantastic, you should be proud of yourself :)

to NOT have to ask for a lapbelt extender when I board my flight on Wednesday.......

500 sticks of butter........ and not a slice of toast in sight LOL
-
I've lost 1/3 of me, unfortunately not from the middle third LOL

A nurse, taking my BP before an operation, exclaimed 'oh my goodness, for someone of your size I expected your blood pressure to be sky high'.......at my heaviest my BP was perfectly OK, NOW when I've lost 9 stones it's suddenly shot up and I'm on meds since last week

Well done

Little targets. I had over 200lbs to lose, I've lost 124lbs so far and all done with just the help of this app. I've had up days and down days and weeks where I've been good and not lost a pound and weeks where I've gained but at the end of it all i'm doing it for myself and that's the only person i'm accountable to. Rome…

I don't call it a cheat day, but I do have a more relaxed day on the day I've weighed, where I'm not so rigid about what I eat - strangely I very rarely go over my calorie allowance now, although they may not necessarily be 'healthy' calories, but I'm 123lbs down so it's working for me
-
Its happened to me several times. I just keep on doing what I'm doing and eventually my body kickstarts itself again - it can be frustrating but don't give up!
-
Fantastic!
-
123lbs lost now, had a slower week but lots of stress; although I've stayed within calories they haven't been the best of calories, but hey a pound down is a pound closer to target!
-
fantastic :)

well done!
