CALM DOWN! :) Just weigh it out and fit it into your day. you probably shouldn't have 100g of it, and i see why you're really full after. (I sometimes have 1/2 cup of granola with a yoghurt for breakfast, and it keeps me really full until my morning snack.) Don't group foods into 'good' and 'bad' categories, you're just…

hehe, glad I amused you :) the peppermint tea is an excellent idea too! And I always find planking helps when I'm bloated.

I eat them, or at least most of them. And i'm still losing! The reason is, that to lose weight you eat under your maintenance calories. if you exercise, you're creating a bigger gap. So by eating them back, you're ensuring that you stay around your recommended cut. My maintenance is around 2100 on a basic day, i've cut…

Well done :) keep up the good work and it'll all pay off!

1800-2000 daily :) still losing!

I'm 5ft 10, age 25, and 176 pounds. I eat 1800-2000 and am losing consistently. I eat 300-400 more on days I exercise. 3 days a week: 30 mins cardio, then weights. I've averaged a loss of 1.66 pounds a week over the last 11 weeks. Remember you wont lose every week, but over time if you average it out the figures make more…

Mine arrived today! I got a funky purple one from eBay :) lol. It's definitely enlightening when you tart weighing properly! My portions of pasta/rice/potatoes before I started calorie counting were double what I actually need.

Me too! Feel free to add me for support :) I like to motivate!

Nuts are good, such as almonds. I find boiled eggs give me a boost, I sometimes have 2 full eggs and a couple of whites.

Great work! What a transformation :) you look great!

Hi! Yeah I eat almost all my exercise cals, have you definitely calculated your TDEE correctly? If you have any cals leftover in a day then it's fine to eat some more.
-
Omg they sound amazing! Gonna try this tomorrow :) thanks for sharing

I use IIFYM.com It lets you specify how long you spend sitting, sleeping, moving around etc. I've set it as my basic day (ie sitting at my desk for 7.5 hours, 7.5 hours sleep, some light movement) then on days I work out I add the calories and eat most of them back. It gives a clear explanation of your calories needed.…

LOL, that's why I prefer to use it. I sit on my bum most of the day at work, so i've put that as most of my daily time. then i've put about 60 mins for other light activity. then the rest is sleep. By using that as my base, and eating back most of my exercise cals I've found a happy medium of 1800 cals. And any extra…

I think you can jump to it straight away. Your body will sort itself out after a few days. If you do see any gain, remember it takes 3500 cals to get a pound of fat, so don't let the scale fool you into thinking that you're gaining fat!

2 or 3 large hard boiled eggs 2 slices of wholegrain bread, with either natural peanut butter or marmite Keeps me full most of the morning.

Hi, I've been struggling to figure mine out as well! I googled it and found a website called IIFYM.com. if you click on the TDEE section, it lets you input your actual daily activity levels and timings. Like how long you spend sleeping/sitting etc. I worked it out for a regular day for me, and calculated mine that way.…

Wow!! That looks amazing! haha!

morning! i'm 5'11 as well, and 1200 wasn't enough for me. I felt hungry and irritable, then i found the calculator for me BMR on here, and it's nowhere near enough! It's under TOOLS, then BMR. Enter your details and it'll work it out for you. Mine was about 1600. I dont think you should eat under the figure that you get,…

annoying: when people say 'But you're skinny, you don't need to go to the gym!' (I'm not skinny by the way). It's like people think you need to be overweight to go to the gym in the first place. They don't seem to grasp that when you've lost weight, you can't just go back to being a slob again! also annoying: people also…

What a great idea! I'm 24, from Leicester in the UK :) Feel free to add me for support :) x

Hey hun, don't feel too bad about one slip up! Make sure you still log all your food, even if you don't wanna see the evil RED numbers. But honestly, one bad day won't hurt you (even a couple of bad days), as long as you try to get back on track the very next day. Don't let it put you off for the rest of the day/week. I'm…

ShelleyD81 that's just what i was gonna say! I have 2 Chocolate & Fudge bars; under 150 calories, pretty satisfying and full of fibre! :)
