I started clx last week; did burn 1 and 2. The slow pace feels weird, but I could really feel it in my biceps and inner thighs a day or two afterward. This week my goal is to follow the schedule and do the workouts everyday - hope to see results for a trip to Mexico in February!

I am trying to eat this way, too - not always easy. Planning all your meals for the week and doing food prep on the weekend are both great ideas!

I lost around 25 lbs. originally although have gained back about 10 when I stopped exercising regularly and watching the snacking. Good question - I put it under cardio the last couple of times. Does putting calories burned under strength training add it to your food totals?

I did burn 2 again today (in my second week) and then hopped on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Total burn 469. I'm sticking to the order of doing the DVDs but sometimes have an extra day in between due to what else is going in in my day - hopefully this won't affect my results. Burn 1 again today - 194 calories and then 30 minutes on the treadmill. I'm still working on targeting the muscle groups that are involved in each exercise - it takes practice! I am really liking the program, though I've had a skip a day here and there due to my schedule.

Did burn circuit 3 today and burned 205 calories. What a great leg workout; I really liked this one!! Have also lost a pound since starting the program!!!

Burn 2 today and I feel like I'm better understanding how this whole heavy weights/low reps should work although I only burdened 182 calories. Added 30 minutes on the treadmill to up that to 386. I can't wait to do whatver cardio DVD it is tomorrow!!

Just finished burn circuit 1 - burned 181 calories so I spent 30 minutes on the treadmill to give myself a bigger calorie burn. I am definitely going to have to pick up some 15 lb. dumbbells for some of the moves.

I am hoping to receive chalean extreme today and after reading all your posts I'm really excited to get started. I keep reading that Chalene recommends lifting "heavy" - what does that mean in terms of weights? I have 8 and 10 lb. dumbbells-will that be good to start with or should I plan on picking up heavier ones? Thanks…

I only lost .2 from my last weigh in so I'm at 141 lbs. right now. We were out of to em over the weekend and I didn't lig my foods so i plan on setting my calories today and using those guidelines this week.
