Start with a dance, see if I got turned down. She looks pretty no-nonsense.

@Noelv1976 I'd help you find a gypsy.
-
Haha - poor timing. But, it's your loss, I suppose.

A big ol' v-day style, dip smooch.

Well, I'd feel guilty if that happened (which is tough for somebody who generally feels no guilt at all), partially because you could not drink tea on the moon. From what I've read, as soon as the water started to boil it would start to freeze.

Yes, because if I prepare it with my own guesses of the water to milk ratio and get it wrong, I'd blame you, and tarnish your reputation. If this is not at least as good as my previous attempts at chai, you'll never make a tea recommendation in this town again!

Dresses up like characters from video games.

Tea aficionado.

I don't believe everything I'm told on the Internet, but, I'll give this a go. You seem like a trustworthy source, at least with regards to tea preparation.

Tea ball. Steeped in half a mug of boiled water for 5 minutes, then top it off with milk and sugar. I likes it a little sweet. Now that we've had this whole coffee shop conversation, I'd offer to buy you a biscotti.

Fist bump?

Ah, say no more. I now understand hipster chai. For a while I was making my own mix. Black tea, pepper, cinnamon, cardamon, and a little ginger. I think it was a pretty classic chai mix, but now that I describe the fact that I used to buy the ingredients and mix it myself, it seems a little hipster. But it seemed a lot…

Haha - what is hipster chai?
-
I'm a tea fan myself. Chai specifically. You're tea preference?

Soooo...whathca drinking?

"You know, I'm a talented doctor. I could probably help you with that hump" "...what hump?"

Ponder the best Young Frankenstein joke. Maybe the "walk this way" bit?

Regret never learning that whole "talking to people" skill.

Split pea soup - veggie broth, carrots, celery, onion, a bag of split peas. Turn it on before work and it's ready for you when you get home. 1 pot chili - beans, tomatoes, onion, green peppers, seasonings, meat if you want. Corn chowder - canned cream corn, cubed potatoes, oyster mushrooms, cubed american cheese (optional)…

Yup, lots of squats that engage different stabilizers and supporting muscles. Some require different techniques for completing, and there is no "one technique fits all" approach. FYI - deadlifts are not squats.

When I first started running and I was trying to make sure I had good form I watched a couple of videos, but I didn't read too far into the full philosophy aside from forefoot strike, relax when you run, etc. As @brandiuntz said, your pace will improve by running more, regardless of which technique you use. But, ChiRunning…

Yeah, I also figure, regardless of the OPs motives for the post, there might be other folks out there with similar questions, who can get some value out of the thread. Honey roasted soybeans are my jam.

Just mirroring the comments above. You can get good shoes for cheap - look for clearance deals, seasonal sales, bogo sales, etc. Start slow - I personally did not realize how much I had to slow down to run a mile until I actually used C25K and tried running a mile. Getting fitted for shoes and getting a gait analysis is…

I've been a vegetarian for 13 years, and 9 of those years I was a vegan. Before you dive right in, I'd recommend doing research and getting a cookbook or two. It can be an overwhelming decision to make quickly, because then you end up getting stuck on pasta and processed veggie burgers. Most vegan cookbooks will have…

I have a problem with the consistency of gels, and I don't do caffeine. I usually put a little baggie of nuts in my pouch, and a fruit squeeze pouch or two. Powerbar makes them, but there are also several baby food companies that make them and they are all the same thing. So, I just shoot for whichever is cheaper.

Go to a busy beach and practice in open water. I'd still work on bi-lateral, but expect to have to change your rhythm or timing depending on conditions. Sometimes if there are a lot of people or waves then you are forced to breathe out of one side or the other, but then may have to change sides unexpectedly (ie you have to…

The Misfit is a small coin looking thing, and I have seen several sizes of bands for it, or I think you can use it without any band, and it has a clip. I haven't used it, but you might look and see if they've got something more accommodating for you.

2 things: 1) don't do things you hate 2) definitely give it a try, especially if you think you only hated running because you were too out of shape for it. I never ran, ever. I always walked the mile in school. A friend of mine retired from the army and we worked out a few times, we would do calisthenics and then he would…

Yeah I struggle with it as well - though never that long. I started taking fiber supplements (Benefiber is the best IMO, I hate the fake orange taste and grainy texture of the other stuff), I also started putting either chia seeds or flax seed on my cereal in the morning. And, I take CLA, which is supposed to help reduce…

I did C25K 3 years ago and ran my first 5K within 10 weeks. I had never run a full mile before that. Since then I have run numerous 5Ks, numerous 10Ks, a 15K, 3 HMs, 1 Full Marathon, and I'm currently training for my first ultra. When I started running I lost very little weight until I started counting calories, then I…
