I normally shred it then either saute with mustard seeds and chilli, or stir fry with soy and sesame oil. Never occurred to me to roast it in chunks in the oven - sounds delicious!

My surprise has been the "healthy" grain-based products. Bread, pasta, wraps, bagels... So high in calories, and that's before you've put the yummy stuff on them! That's all great, healthy food, but it's not enough to sustain you! Where's the protein? Surely you could sneak an egg in there every now and again, even on 1,000 calories (which by the way seems excessively low).

I get cutting out sweets and chips if you're trying to break bad habits, but... baked potato, salsa, chickpeas, egg? Those are all healthy foods. If you won't let yourself eat them, then what DO you eat?
