Measure your waist, neck, hips every two weeks! I bet you'll see decreasing numbers there if you're doing everything right.

If you go to an IBS support group you'll find a lot of people who have experienced this. IBS-D. Diagnosed by elimination, often.

I loved watching Betty go to Weight Watchers on Mad Men. Might be partly why I consider it kind of antiquated.

You just have to recognize it when you're doing it and stop. As I get older I realize there's no other way to stop mental habits than to just stop.

I think to lose an inch, you generally have to lose 3-4 pounds, so 9-12 pounds in 7 weeks isn't crazy, just ambitious. I finally measured myself the other day, because I'm doing some strength training so only counting pounds lost might be discouraging. I'm also 5'8" and 40" around my widest. But I have way smaller boobs :P

If you don't like green tea, I'd say stick with water. You want a plan that works for you, after all. The plan probably recommends green tea because it may help curb appetite or speed metabolism, but those effects are not proven. The antioxidants can't hurt though! My health professor said ten situps a day can prevent back pain. Also, counter-intuitive but getting your inner thighs and hip flexors less tight really helps the lower back. I went to physical therapy for lower back pain at age 14 and most of the stretches were for the hamstrings/hipflexors and ab strengthening. Lie on…

My grooveshark playlist: http://grooveshark.com/playlist/Groove+Me+Baby/36168169 I like disco and DA FUNK most of the time. My recent favorites have been Maximum Balloon (song: Tiger) and LCD Soundsystem. LCD has amazing, amazing beats. Robin is an all-time favorite too. The Very Best is also great. I hate rock. :/

I found out I had IBS two months ago. I didn't always have problems with it, but my life got mega stressful and it seemed to aggravate my digestive system. I would spend afternoons in the bathroom at work, wishing I could ralph or pass out or SOMETHING, because I was in so much pain in my chest and stomach. I had tests…
