I ordered mine last night, bit of a wait to receive it! I've never owned anything like it before, so hopefully it is worth the money! If anyone is interested in buying one feel free to go through: https://moov.cc/getmoov/2A887196E7. You get $5 for every person that you refer.

I had a cheap pair initially but got ones fitted in a sports shop in Dec.

I tried my first one today, the "PHD Diet Whey: Belgian Chocolate", which is meant to be one of the nice ones. It was rank! Took my over half an hour to finish it. Some people will always say they are not worth it, but I suppose they are worth a try. I found that since increasing my protein intake that I am less hungry…

I can't speak highly enough of c25k. It is a great introduction to running, and has got me addicted to running. I'm now training for a half marathon. The jump from 8 minutes to 20 is daunting, but definitely achievable. The best advice is to run slow! You'll pick up pace as the weeks go on.

yeah I remember thinking having to run for 2 minutes was completely daunting, but as long as you take it a step at a time then any distance is achievable!

No I definitely want to lose weight. I've got a bit of a fat belly/moobs so I'm looking to slim. I'm enjoying the program so I am liking the idea of losing further weight though improving my running. Because I am small I think I would look ridiculous if I was bulky lol. I'll just continue eating properly and exercising,…

well done! there are 10k programs on the BUPA website, which also have them tailored to beginner, intermediate and advanced runners I'm sure. I'm planning on following a free one from the runkeeper app, which you can access from their website if you do not have a smartphone.

If you have a treadmill you should start the "couch to 5k" progamme, you can download the podcasts from http://www.nhs.uk/livewell/c25k/Pages/couch-to-5k.aspx. But it is much more fun to do outdoors! Sticking to a set prorgamme has kept my interest and stopped me from getting bored.

Just because it seems to always be on lists of things to eat when trying to eat healthily.

ahh that's iPhone only and I have an android phone :( thanks anyway.

I experimented with some of the apps and found that "runkeeper" was best. Runkeeper allowed me to create my own exercise plans with intervals, such as "run for 60 secs, walk for 90 secs" etc, to ensure you are sticking to your plan. It also tracks distance ran, average pace and calories burned, although the calories burned…

I lost a lot of weight last summer from cycling, then my bike broke and I've not got round to fixing it! I also found that cycling is a lot more fun than just jogging/other cardio because you can go further, see lots of places etc, therefore you are more likely to continue due to the fact you enjoy it! good luck

thanks for the advice, I'l definitely stick to c25k!

thanks for the reply! I guess I should stick to c25k then, and maybe look to work on HIIT once I finish the program.
