  • This is so true! Most likely water weight. You've come so far, this is just an obstacle in your way.
  • justsomerando, could you tell us the recipe? I LOVE coconut. I freeze pitted black cherries for an occasional summer treat. High in sugar but high in nutrition too, yummy.
  • I use nuts, avocados, eggs, brown rice and coconut or olive oil to get the calorie count up where I need it. I don't like meat either so I allow for healthy fats. I also set my fat ration for a higher level, usually about 50%! Since I use healthy fats this is not a problem, weight is going steadily down and I feel…
  • I really agree! I won't tell anyone else what to avoid, but I know that for me, I feel 100% better and look better too, when I stick with real food. No crap. Whatever you decide to avoid...replace it with a healthy alternative! It isn't really a will power issue at all, processed foods zap my energy and make me want to…

Luckily I didn't have stretch marks. I lifted weights, wore comfy bras, and kept the weight off for quite a few years. After…

  • It really depends on how much energy you put into it. Zumba is so much fun especially when the music is great. One lady wears a pedometer to the class I teach, and it usually reads about 5000 steps for one class, but those certainly aren't your average strolling-walking steps. You have to really know the moves to get the…
