I don't think you can hurt your daughter by teaching her good eating habits. Much worse to let her continue with the bad habits. It doesn't necessarily have to be about losing weight, teach her to make the right choices and get regular exercise and the weight loss will come naturally.

I wouldn't go swimming with it on. The water resistance means you can drop it in a puddle or wear it in the rain, but I doubt they would recommend using it to monitor heart rate while swimming.

Personally, I only weigh myself once/week. Any more than that and you run into the daily fluctuations that you're talking about. Twice a week would be the most I would recommend. If you really want to weigh in every day, then record every instance, just make sure that you weigh yourself at the same time, in the same state,…
