I'm 5'0". My initial goal is 128, but as I get closer, I've realized I still have a way to go. Once I get there, I'll aim for 118-120. I have a small frame, but like you, I am larger up top. So far all of my weight has come off of my hips and butt.

By trying on something that didn't fit or at least didn't fit well before. I have stopped food & alcohol rewards. My huband made my day by rewarding me a new running jacket. It's very warm, but light weight and form fitting. It was just the reward and motivation I needed to run in the now dark & cold evenings.

You are not eating the right foods. You need real protein and veggies. Less breads, milk, cheese & sugar loaded snacks. Also, it does't look like you have much weight to lose. If you have ten pounds or less, than your 2 lbs per month may be right on target.

I am having the same problem. I drink a ton of water, easily 80-100 oz per day and I've been taking a daily allergy med. The puffiness is only around the top of my cheek bones. I think my sodium levels are fine, but I will track them more carefully.

Walking and reduced calories will enable weight loss. I highly recommend getting a Fitbit so you can see distance, steps & stairs. It links to MFP, so it's two great worlds combined.

Tall Skim Vanilla Latte with an extra shot of espresso. At home I drink Green Mountain Dark Magic with 1 Tablespoon of Italian Sweet Cream (35 calories). Yes, I measure each time.

At least 80 oz. I have a thermos water bottle that keeps the water a perfect temp. It also has a straw, which is a must have for me. I keep it at my desk and drink all day long. I credit water for stopping my cravings and making me feel statisfied. I'm only 5'0'', so my calorie requirements are low.

5'0'' and my goal is 128. I may reevaluate when I hit my goal, but like many others I like a little curves. I lose weight off my hips/butt quickly, so I'm kind of shapeless. I'm thinking about Brazil Butt Lift dvds to help with tone.
