Day 1 for me done today as well. For adding it to MFP I just created a custom exercise called T25 and set it to 200cal and 25 min.

Biggest help for me was (and is) measuring my food and logging everything as I eat it on here. When I log as the day progresses it keeps me in check, on the days when I can't log as I eat ... I log at night and its usually a shock as to how much I ate that day. I am not nearly as good at estimating as I thought.

I bought a cage, about 300 lbs in Olympic weights, barbell, and adjustable bench when I first stared out. It was way less than $1000 and its amazing how many exercises you can do including all the big compound ones. I think its a great starting point for any home gym.

How about smoothies? This morning for me was pineapple/blueberry/spinach smoothie and it tasted great. First time I had tried it. You can find lots of smoothie ideas on here.

I make my own pork sausage. Did about 150lbs last run. Its not lean, but I don't think its near 70/30. We love them ..make them twice a year. Its really not that much work either .. it turns out to be a family job.

I eat between 400-600 cals each morning for breakfast ... bacon and eggs or oatmeal. On a regular work day I am swamped at work and find it hard to work in a good lunch. This keeps me satisfied until mid afternoon on most days. This habit seems to serve me well Mon-Fri.

Spicy squash soup ... 1 large butternut squash cubed 1 can coconut milk 1 can chicken stock 2 jalapenos 3 carrots 3-4 cloves of garlic and some smoked paprika Cook on low all day ... immersion blend ... eat.

All I have bought so far is a squat rack, barbell, 285lbs of weight, adjustable bench, 5 horse stall mats (1 inch thick rubber to protect my floor).
